I was reading a book by Dean Amory - Essential Knowledge for Coaches when I first came across this and wanted to see a more visual representation of this model. You did a great job on that. Not only do I think that this model is good for businesses but it may be useful to help ourselves figure out how to make a difficult transition i.e. Career change. It could be used as a tool to better understand our own personal biases or resistance to #change

For example, if one of the restraining forces to a change is lower levels of employee satisfaction and productivity, this can be measured by actively communicating with employees or developing surveys throughout the work place. This is just one way employee satisfaction and motivation can be effectively measured, but the main way such driving and restraining forces can be measured is through communication and collaboration with team members, whether it be individually or in a group. I hope that makes more sense :) Another example is a driving force relating to increases in profitability as a result of Adidas seeking to collaborate with sustainable organisations, such as Parley to develop footwear and sporting apparel made from recyclable materials. This driving force can be measured by the finance department as they often conduct weekly. monthly, even annual forecasts to determine whether strategies will lead to profitability within a certain business. This can be evaluated by measuring the overall number of new customers attracted and retained to the organisation as a result of the change, or even the sales accumulated as a result of selling a particular pair of shoes to the target market.

This video has numerous errors. Lewin was a gestalt psychologist and is considered the founder of social psychology, not sociology. This application of his notions of field theory and the force field were meant to explain individual behaviors, not organizational operations.

This lecture does not deal with Kurt Lewin and his work! First of all, Lewin was a psychologist rather than a sociologist. The rest of the things you said will appear for what they are as soon as you begin studying what you are talking about with excessive and misplaced self-confidence!
