The 85-year-old "Listerine cleaner" needs grapefruit seed extract! lol Hospitals use it to clean their floors. It's a concentrate and you add it to distilled water in a sprayer, also can be used in laundry, and internally used (said to kill parasites). I don't use it internally, but have been using it for 20 years as a surface cleaner and disinfectant. I don't use things like bleach and such due to chemical sensitivities. There are scientific studies on its efficacy you can find on the interwebs.

Here in Florida we see cans and bottles laying in ditches and along the road by the tons and a deposit would be a big benefit to clean this up. They’re just too lazy down here in Florida to do anything.

Did you also know that Publix is the reason you'll never get rid of plastic bags in the grocery stores in your state? They lobbied so hard to prevent abolishing the use of plastic bags, that, Florida is probably the biggest contributor of plastic in the country. Just another feather in Florida's hat.

Believe it or not the *original* formula for listerine (sometimes still available--a yellow-colored liquid) was developed/intended for use as some sort of all-purpose cleaning product for the home. (This will certainly explain the horrible taste of the original flavor of listerine to anyone who has ever tasted it.)

And Coca Cola used to have Cocaine in it.... But is doesn't anymore. And he needs a nursing home. Because that is what you do to people who so shit like, clean with Listerine. Friend of mine had to put his mom in a nursing home after she started drinking Fabuloso, cleaning the toaster and the coffee pot and other appliances in the sink, and drying clothes in the oven. When they get that way, they are going to end up being dangerous to not only themselves, but the family and neighborhood around them.

Listerine is a more effective disinfectant than 7th Generation. Each has thymol as the effective ingredient but Listerine has a higher percentage than 7th Generation. Also Listerine has no residue, so also great for cleaning porcelain and spraying on doorknobs. Much less harsh IMO. It's mostly an alcohol tincture of various herbs with no additional ingredients.

Hmmm, you’re right. I hadn’t thought of that. I bet that there are chemicals in the disinfectants that are now unhealthy or will be found to be unhealthy in the future. Thank you for your comment.

Yes.... and this is kind of gross but if you suffer from athletes foot, use 1 gallon of water with 1/2 cup, and pre soak your socks before washing. Same to soak your feet a few times a day. It works and costs far less than those sprays.

@@brad3706 thanks. As I go to a gym, I’ll keep this in mind. But I found a real cure for toe fungus: I’ve been swimming for 6 months and the chlorine has killed it. Of course, the chlorine is also turning my hair into straw.

Listerine was originally marketed a floor cleaner. Lysol was made first for many purposes, one being feminine hygiene. Fun history of advertising

Just watched you on the Howie podcast. I didn’t want comment on his show especially since I don’t care for his show. You are the second guest that had me sitting through his uncomfortable interview style. He doesn’t wait for the answer and constantly gets sidetracked like calling his wife or looking up definitions of words. Your show was better than The Anthony Jeselnik show where they break the news to him during the interview that Norm Mcdonald had just passed away. It was great to hear your laugh. a couple times you cut up and it nice to see that from you. Especially since your whole thing is anger. The first person Pixar thought of was you. I just wanted to drop a line that I enjoyed it and obviously I enjoy this show as well. Thanks for the great content and laughs all year round. Happy New Year to you and your team. Best of luck on your final tour and hopefully I get a chance to see you this time you are around. But thankfully you are doing the podcast thing and I am really enjoying it.

Listerine is good for killing toe nail fungus and is food grade. I agree with cleaning with it but don't leave residue or slip on it. Use it on fungus feet.

1/2 cup to 1 gallon of water and soak your socks, for 1/2 hour. Same mixture for soaking your feet a couple times a day kills athletes foot faster and cheaper than those sprays.

Or change things that are plastic back to what they used to be. Coffee used to come in cans, oj, juice and milk used to come in cardboard, ketchup/mayo/mustard/salad dressing etc. used to come in glass! It would not be too difficult to fix some of the issues starting with groceries.

I thought common law marriages were abolished, till I googled it and found that there are still 16 states that still have them with a few that don't have them but will recognize ones from other states. Four of them that have stop on the laws after a certain date. They are kind of Medieval if you think about it.
