I know! Makes me want to give him a big hug. Such talent. His oldest brother Warren has some songs on here from 10-11 years ago and I think he is better on guitar but Lewis is clearly the more talented singer. I guess that's why we are hearing about Lewis now and here in America we might not have known that his brother was a singer if Lewis had not talked about how he got started playing guitar because his brother started playing and he wanted to do what his older brother was doing. Check him out.

Lyrics: Lately I'm getting lost on you You got me doing things I never thought I'd do Never spent so long on a losing battle But lately giving up don't seem to matter Everyday I'm a slave to the heartache And you're wasting away every night I don't wanna leave you lonely But I've run out of love this time You know that I adore you Though I couldn't give enough Hope you'll be safe in the arms of another 'Cause I can't take the weight of your love Lately I'm getting lost on you I tore your world apart like it was nothing new Never bled so much when I didn't have to I'm given up on a life lived after Everyday I'm a slave to the heartache And you're wasting away every night I don't wanna leave you lonely But I've run out of love this time You know that I adore you Though I couldn't give enough Hope you'll be safe in the arms of another 'Cause I can't take the weight of your love I had a hold on your soul But I lost my grip, let you go I should've carried us both Everyday I'm a slave to the heartache And you're wasting away every night Don't wanna leave you lonely But I've run out of love this time You know that I adore you Though I couldn't give enough Hope you'll be safe in the arms of another 'Cause I can't take the weight of your love Of your love Hope you'll be safe in the arms of another 'Cause I can't take the weight of your love

? He wasn't mumbling lol. It's just that the song is a half-tone lower so the start is a little bit deeper and quieter, that's it.
@Rae_54652 жыл бұрын
@@John-mj1kk Yeah your comment is so true, he started the intro with a deeper lower voice and then goes louder. People just need to listen more careful to hear that! Thanks for your comment!

The intro was poor but the track picked up once the mumbling stopped, a good voice and delivery for the most part.

I use KZbin to find new (to me music) and when you listen to a lot you quickly find what you like and also what is not even worth commenting on, there really is a lot of dross out there. This chap has a good voice and once he gets going is excellent but its a very competitive market and starting a track with indistinct mumbling really doesn't help anyone's cause. Is that Simon Cowell like to have an opinion, I don't think so because unlike some people, I always pay for the music I like.

@@johnhaynes9910 Well now here we are in 2020 and his mumbling has not seemed to have hurt him AT ALL!!!! Grammy nominated worldwide superstar that he is now.

He does have an amazing voice. He does need to work on vocal technique. if you hear, he says "you know that I adore you" he isn't adding gravel, he is straining. otherwise great!
@5.3pachyderm152 жыл бұрын
Its compression/Distortion, And I guarentee he's doing it on purpose cause he does it in every song shy of a select few soft live recordings. Theres a way to do it safely without harm. How do you think metal vocalists achieve what they do without an absolute blowout?
