High my blood, heavy like hot rain I'm drown in you Colors mixing on a hot day, a hot day In the streets without the street lights And with no power lines I am electric, I'm electrical I finally found the rest of me My dance hall is all bodies now And they're burning sugar sweet, so sweet And my old world is on fire now As I move into the heat, the heat High my blood, fresh fish and sticky plantains I am bound to you By the mystery of my own name My dance hall is all bodies now And that burning sugars sweet, so sweet And my old world is on fire now As I move into the heat As I move into the heat, the heat In the streets without the street lights And no power lines I am electric, I am electric In the streets without the street lights And no power lines I am electric, electric In the streets that are my insides My father never lost his mind How come I never call you now? Why do I never call you now? Bottom of the ocean

I know this song has to do with the place in Nicaragua, but this song reminds me of when I go see my cousins over in Puerto Rico. I guess we can all relate if you have Hispanic or at lest some Hispanic in you. I like it when he mentions about Plantains, because grandma would fry them up and it would be so good especially with Baccalá. I'm Puerto Rican and Italian so I had some good food growing up from both my grandmas.

Funny enough my family is from both Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua y Managua, Nicaragua so this song connects with me even more so. Really reminds me of growing up visiting Nicaragua as a child

couldn't find lyrics online yet so i transcribed it myself: Hide my blood, heavy like hot rain I'm drowning you Colors mixing on a hot day, hot day In the streets without the street lights And no power lines I am electric, I'm electric I finally found the rest of me My dance hall is all bodies now And that burning sugars sweet, so sweet And my old world is on fire now As I'm moving to the heat, the heat Hide my blood, fresh fish and sticky plantains I am bound to you By the mystery of my own ways My dance hall is all bodies now And that burning sugars sweet, so sweet And my old world is on fire now As I move into the heat As I move into the heat, the heat In the streets without the street lights And no power lines I am electric, I'm electric In the streets without the street lights And no power lines I am electric, electric In the streets that are my insides My father never lost his mind How come I never call you now?
