Nicely photographed and edited, and accompanying music was just lovely. I want to stand on Scarista Beach and cast a line for my breakfast. Thanks for the fantasy.

A good insight into somewhere that I'm booked up for in 2025 -'Luskentyre always shines out, but there's obviously plenty of other heavenly places up there too!

Re the standing stones at 1:05. When visiting on a rainy day suddenly I realized that the stones could be situated on North, South, East, West axes. I checked my compass and lo and behold absolutely smack on. I hadn't read the bumf so maybe it is a well known fact. But how did they, long, long ago manage this feat? Any ideas anyone?

Thank you very much for a wonderful posting. Beautiful scenery and the fiddling is beautiful too. Did you have a hand in that ? ❤. I love Lewis and Harris ; I long harboured a dream to move but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. Always in my heart ♥

Many thanks, the fiddle player is Donald Gorman, a member of my band ‘Curmudgeon’. Guitar playing is me.

I have no idea of lineage...but my mother married a Lewis and her sister married a Harris. I'm always amused when I see these names together.

Now we know why the English politicians want to keep Scotland as part of the disunited Kingdom ! If ever there were money shots , those were they ,right there ... Mesmerising !
