One of the hardest right hands I've ever seen land in any kind of fight. Few if any fighters ever could've have taken that right hand and not been knocked the fuck out. My favorite Lewis KO ever

The fight took place on 17:th of November 2001, about 2 months after the tragic event of 9/11. This was a rematch between Lewis and Rahman. Rahman won the first against an over confident Lewis. This time it was the other way around, Rachman came in over confident.

does anyone know why lennox is bigging up so many random places in the post interview?😅 is it because he wasn't respected in those areas or something?

The fact that Lewis was in this situation was kind of amusing, where he had to get his belt back from HASIM RAHMAN. Lewis would go to fight a fat washed up Mike Tyson, and then get run out of boxing by Vitali Klitschko.
@ericsnow20693 ай бұрын
a Hasim Rahman that had beaten a former heavyweight champion prior to Lewis and is considered a top tier heavyweight, a Lewis who sparred competitively with Tyson as teenagers and avoided by Tyson's management in their primes until punishing Tyson and then nearly taking Vitali Klitschko eye out in a war. He retired with nothing left to prove.

@marcpjoyner2 ай бұрын
@@ericsnow2069are you really using a 42 year old, way past his prime Trevor Berbick victory as an example of Rahman’s prowess? Lewis definitely should have rematched Klitschko, he was down on the scorecards at the time of the doctor stoppage for the freak eye injury, and was losing the fight. He should have gotten himself in shape and given heavyweight boxing fans the rematch they wanted. Instead he ran and retired.
@marcpjoyner2 ай бұрын
@@bryanholland7999okay cool. You have an actual retort?
@ericsnow20692 ай бұрын
@@marcpjoyner Yes....he could have lost to a former champion and he didn't. Rahman had a credible career whether you see it that way or not. In any case Ring magazine and online surveys cement Lewis as an all time top ten fighter. That freak eye injury you mention was caused by something lol As far as his retiring you should have got the memo to him it was a bad time and to keep fighting.
