If you think about it a knight in full chain or plate armour would be a tank zombies can’t bite through metal or scratch through it either But if there’s say 1000 of them the knight would be mobbed and probably end up squished to death I’m looking forward to that zombie medieval game coming out whenever

Things like vampires is why one NEVER play on ironman mode. Because if you do not know, there is no way to preparing for reality, like teleporting head hunting nine lives and life stealing. Probably have even more stuff that i do not know about.

If any one line has summed up Battle Brothers, it was Ben's "you got two 77% chances, you gotta do better than that" Cos we know this game, it will shaft you hard for zero reason, just cos it might be funny

Battle Brothers: walking around you uncover the "Coven of Midnight" evil citadel Ben: hmmmm... looks interesting, but no, fuck 'em, no one has paid our massively underlevelled band of mercenaries to even poke our noses in there... so no, fuck'em Then he goes wandering around the arse end of some hiils/mountains and decides to have a pop anyway Like the name isn't enough for a hard "nope!" Maybe he's thinking this is an RPG and not Battle Brothers? Only time will tell....

Those vamp guys were such bullshit, constant decapitations each turn, while they dodge attack after attack, the ones that do land don't kill even on 1 hp, just how exactly could you be ready for those? I've never gotten this far in the game but that fight seems impossible without a literal God tier full squad with the best shit in the game

THey are pretty bad, but ben also attacked a camp with them in it super early. I normally don't see them spawn on contracts till like day 100+. He also was pretty much just in raider gear, which is like the worst tier of real armor, and none of his guys had the nimble/battle forge perks yet, which are what make bros actually tough. Ben also doesn't seem to level melee defense, which means they never miss.

They really are bullshit, 85% melee skill, 25 melee defense, 60 - 225 hit points and they steal 100% health and they have nine lives (you cant one-hit them and probably wont be two-hitting either) and they teleport and focus down injured guys. They have headhunter too and a ridiculous amount of damage (khopesh with double grip bonus) Early game you are still struggling to even hit them while they cut down everyone, and you should honestly expect the same in late game until you develop a successful strat.

The vamps are easy to deal with if you bring nets. maces work too becuz stuns prevent them from flying away. same with tauntt, so bring tanks with mdef and taunt. You havvve to be prepared if you want to fight vamps, but if you are, then its smooth sailing. (there are also formations which crush vamps, but those are hard to explain with text!)

@@Sp4rt4nSl4ya Having slightly higher level bros, 7-9 helps a lot. Nimble and battleforge can double/triple survivability. In late ish game you'll also have some decent armor, in the 200-250 range for both armor and helmet.

I wish Ben would give legends mod a try, but for some reason he seems reluctant.

@@Shadow-bk1im some of its wording and submods make it seem like it is an insane overhaul which maybe he is not into. In reality though a large mod it really is just vanilla+ with maybe the new equipment being a substantial change but that is it.

@@howitzer551 also yeah I understand. He seems to think that the mod adds a bunch of magic and turns it from low fantasy to high fantasy it just isn’t true. I understand the concern since some mods do that and I didn’t like those very much but legends mod just does it so well.

this is why I don't fuck with vampires in battle brothers. they are fucking crazy OP. if I have to fight them, I will only do it if I had specialized specifically for them and was ready. Ben was neither.
