56:35 brain injury is actually the best injury to get (depending on the build ofc, some builds need a lot of initiative). People sometimes try to farm that injury for the resolve bonus. Its also useful for converting people when playing Cultist

awesome! New series! I love your meat grinder ways, but i will say that its important to nurture some brothers. If you keep letting your boys get meat grindered you might end up in a death spiral! That said the game scales to you, so you can always recover, it'll just kind of drag a bit. Keep up the great work!

Love me some Ben "Club that dog to death" Edgar content. When it comes to combat difficulty in this game, expert is in some ways easier than beginner since you will be getting encounters with enemies wearing better gear earlier.

I will also add ben got brutally unlucky, he missed 5 80% + attacks, and 1 90% chance to hit early on in the fight.

An Englishman that doesn't know how conventional linear formations work!? 🤭 Love your work Ben, but damnit, all melee on the front line, and all ranged on the back line!😆 If you put 2-3 melee in the middle, and wing one on each side a space apart from the center, you can let the enemy move in and collapse around the flank they drop. Or, push the mid and split the enemy forces if they spread out evenly. Unlock your ancestral combat capabilities!

against the first wipe, ben misses like 3 or 4 95% roll attacks in a row... then the fight against the wolves later on... I've complained about it before but always figured I just had some bad luck but I swear, this game is rigged! thats basically rolling a natural 1 four times in a row, and yet this seems to happen in every other battle for me

seeing you play this looked so fun i downloaded it and got my ass kicked about 40 days in now everyone gots good armor and weapons i focused undead because they had good both but only 1 attack per turn so it was pretty straight forward but my guys still get beaten up easy even in full chain with pot helms XD

This game is brutally hard. In my opinion the base difficulty is too high and the economics are wack. The game scales at a certain pace and if you don't keep up you lose. Those enemies will only get harder and if your guys are not strong enough you won't be able to win and will have to start a new game. Additionally losing men is really brutal in the late game because you can be losing ten thousand gold or more from 1 guy with a good background, high level, and good gear dying to an unlucky hit. You might make half that back from the mission you are doing in total and essentially come out of a completed mission down more gold then when you went in.

This game can be really fun two player too like you did with lewis on xcom where one player does the battles and the other controls the map if you can find someone that wants to play with you maybe tom? Still cool to see you play though i love this game but you really should consider getting the other dlc because while the desert isnt particularly important there is some really cool stuff there; spoiler! (guns!)

Is Ben going to play Wartales? It basically takes everything thats good about Battle Brothers and throws all the shit and most of the BS RNG in the bin.

Also man the miss plays are harsh, Don't bother attacking enemies that are routing, they rarely rally, and when they do they are usually out of position, it makes way more sense to attack those who can attack you, also the way morale works, you don't want your guys to just wait, and get approached by the enemy, because being outnumbered reduces morale, and then 2 guys walk towards you they basically get a free morale debuff on you.
