David Lee Thank you for sharing your perspective David. I would say that exploring and trying new things is crucial to finding your path. Because when we do the same things, we will get the same results. And also, understand your strengths. What are you good at? Very often your path has to do with your strengths.

Thank you for this beautiful interview. Loved it. I remember when I first watched an episode of Marie TV ( three years ago) and heard her say that clarity came from engagement not thought, I immediately came up with a list of things I had wanted to do for a long time but never had the courage. On the list there was drama/acting and theatre classes. I found a school in Madrid and signed up straight away. I met some great people and learnt invaluable lessons but most importantly I realised that acting wasn't for me. Thanks to engaging though, I became acutely aware it wasn't my path and stopped wasting time thinking and analysing what it would be like to become an actress. I tried it and moved on.Thank you.

Some of these questions were so personal. Her spouse's and her stance on marriage for the two of them? Kids? I can tell you two are close and she's open in general but as a consumer I support if you and/or interviewing party want to keep interview more thematic. Maybe she just wants to be a supportive voice for people who make similar life choices. Curious if you think it was pretty personal or not, or if you and her discussed topics beforehand?

49:00 I did, in music. I had stopped singing altogether when my dad got ill, then died, then other loved ones died or left the country and I thought I was done with that forever... then I moved to Paris and met a group of musicians and began singing again and it was awful cause I was alright but not at the same level as in my '20s, and I had such resistance and blockages... Thankfully I became concious of that, then I got angry and then I reclaimed my talent. 🙂

I love Marie, but I'm calling Lewis out for saying "You don't have kids yet." That "yet" is incredibly insulting and assumes that she will eventually have kids or eventually want kids. I am so sick of this sentiment in society. As a woman in my 30s who is child-free and has chosen to remain that way, I cannot tell you how many times people have used the "yet" line on me or told me with a mocking, know-it-all tone of voice that I will eventually change my mind. It's completely outdated and disrespectful. Drop the "yet." You're better than this, Lewis.

Any business that you start you will be working almost 20 hours a day. After you have made it (cushion personal and another for their business) that is when you find time to take 2 or 4 week vacation. The government does take it’s share on the paid vacation that is given to the employees. I do wish her well with tons of more success.

It does not take inertia to break free. Inertia is what holds you back. Inertia means no movement. Why did the interviewer smile and nod when she made no sense? She must have meant we must break free FROM inertia. But still, why say the opposite of what you mean, and why didn't he hear what she actually said? Or is that what pretty does to a male brain?

@@kiriyoplay hullow! I am working on getting a life, however, obviously not getting too far with that, as I'm still making comments on youtube! ; ) But seriously, it was not intended as drama. Where I am from, it's not dramatic to notice words and to want them to line up with intentions. I do have asperger's and it makes me listen more like a proofreader. I meant no offence. Have a lovely day.
