Lexan plexiglass cutting with Water

Cutting Lexan plexiglass is tricky. You just can't cut it with a saw because of the heat. The fast reciprocating blade movement creates heat quickly and the plexiglass starts to melt right behind the blade. Simply running water while cutting removes enough heat so the cutting proceeds smoothly. Slow and steady with the saw is important.
