I liked the conversation about how he felt understood or heard by having his brain activity recorded, its a cool perspective. Interesting to see how that could affect human relationships as hopefully we could eventually truly understand each other greater. Such a fascinating approach and crazy to imagine humans truly connect with each other in a mechanical and unnatural way

Thankful for fellow humans who were born with a brain & self control like this 🧠

26:00 I, too hate exercise - but am absolutely committed to it because I have no choice. The alternative is psychological disintegration.

6:50 ... I've sold appliances. People DEFINITELY order things that cannot fit through their doorways. The point was valid, the metaphor was faulty =P

I know it is exciting to see newly accessible output from the brain, but im waiting for the input. Like over clocking the part of the brain that keeps our perception of time in check and consistent. Could you imagine seeing in slow motion! The mental health potentials! Omega app

how would seeing in slow motion help you?

@@basedchadthad9597 I could dodge slaps from my father. So if you had some glasses with visual sensors that could detect impending impacts like teslas anti impact system and that could trigger the overclocking slow motion vision maybe. Or if an egg starts rolling off the counter and your friend Travis is just watching it happen and doesn't saying anything, you could catch the egg and slap Travis before he laughs.

24:30 Lex is absolutely right about listening to the body and not relying on Science™. Science is the birthright of every human being, not just something done elsewhere by people in white coats. Avoiding biases is important, but it's not an excuse to abdicate empiricism entirely to other people.
