Would be nice to see a video about your rotary phase converter and how it helps you servicing lasers. I have the same problem, no 3 phase connection at home. For me things are a bit more difficult. We have 230V here, so I have a gigantic 100Kg step down transformer ;-)

@hastypete Looks like he was using the tape to "pull start" the 3 PH motor. LOL! It works though....
