I'm proud to be able to say I've been a fan of this chan since when it was still the AI podcast. I started out watching Lex's channel to see his MIT lectures and then he started the podcast vids which I thought was awesome. Of course eventually he was going to run out of people to talk to in the AI/ML field, and lucky for him that he was able to expand outward and get people who are in the public eye on his podcast, evolving it into a more general "stuff Lex Fridman is interested in" podcast. I miss the focus on AI though. That was my whole jam. I'm only here re-watching some of these old 'casts for inspiration, and to see my old comments that I left on some of them. Cheers! :]

After spending good 2 years on learning calculus, linear algebra, probability, python and finally deep learning (btw thanks to Andrew Ng) I'm starting to dive deep into DRL. Currently going through David Silver's lectures and RL bootcamp. Really like how Pieter explaines stuff there! Also, I was trying to start AI long time ago, but only Lex Fridman's DL intro lectures got my true attention. Simply and clearly explained and got me motivated to take this fun journey since then. It is so good to have you on this planet guys! :D

I would also recommend the CS231n course by Stanford for the DL. If you don't have enough time just watch the recent one. But if you have time definitely watch the Karpathy's course and the recent one.

I learn so much from this channel that is entirely outside of my wheelhouse..... I'm a tattoo artist. This is brilliant. AI is very misunderstood, maybe even a misnomer, thanks to mainstream media and movies. Good questions and great answers. Still not married, btw...

Both Tesla and Google have a certain type of unit test. Google uses simulators a lot with all the sensor data they have from the real world. And as I understand it Tesla runs the new software in parallel on real cars so you can see what it would do.

Psalm 2:1-5 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Luke 12:56 (KJV) ***Ye hypocrites***, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? MARANATHA !!! 🎺🎺🎺 WHAT DOES MARANATA MEAN? MATTHEW 4:17 / ROMANS 10: 9 / JOHN 8:58 Matthew 24:39 ^ And they had no care till the waters came and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of man. ***¡¡¡REPENT!!!***.COME INTO THE ARK, YOU ARE ON TIME MY FRIEND: THERE IS STILL PLACE. MARANATHA !!!
