Unless she smartens up and gets out, because Hull will likely be the next target after CC is maimed - apparently with the full support of the WNBA administration.

I love Lexi's hustle and spot up shooting. However, she needs to stop trying to be a distributer and develop a floater (she had her layup attempts blocked way too many times). She needs to develop a one dribble pull up to compliment her spot up shooting. It would help if she gains 5 to 7 pounds of muscle, because stronger guards like Plum, Gray and others over power her frequently and bull her to the basket. In the Sun playoff games, Bonner (who is 37) shook Lexi out of her panties on multiple occasions and scored over her. I think she needs to play overseas against more physical players this off season.

If she works on mid range and driving to the basket, using pivot foot and pump fakes, it will be a big 4
@rebauer20002 күн бұрын
Yes, I love her 3 pointers after break, her hustle, her defense, but I can hardly watch when she tries to drive to basket. Also, so often she gets ball and is open but passes instead of shoots. And often her pass or next after that turns into a turnover. If you are good shooter and you are open, shoot!!
@AceFlexFitness00072 күн бұрын
nah she needs to get in the weight room
@richardlowe80622 күн бұрын
Yep she has a lot of mid range shot opportunities she just wouldn’t take and the defense knows it. It’s good to pass but take the shot if you have it Lexi. I wish they interviewed her more after the games !

Actually, her grandmother was one of my Jr. High teachers in Spokane, Washington. She is a wonderful person and teacher. She was really admired by the students. A ton of energy, joy, and encouragement! Her husband, who passed away before he could see his granddaughters play high school basketball, was such a very kind man. I looked up to him. Real tall and excellent b-ball player. Knowing them, you would see the character Lexie displays as part of the Hull family. Just great people.

The fever may not have won in the play offs. However, they seem to be the only team that can present really well in interviews and the media. I hope during the off season that the press/media reps will invest in preparing for the interviews. Some of the questions/comments are embarrassing, which demonstrates the lack of professionalism of their employer. I understand some questions are presented by news affiliates and some may be social media/internet sources; either way, it's giving, "unprepared", unfamiliar, "uneducated" and "unprofessional." Lexie and the other players have endured this foolishness the entire season. While the players are reviewing game videos, please take some time to review press videos for areas of improvement❤😊!

Lexie Hustle!! Nothing is more fun to watch that an athlete like you giving 110% on the floor. Your evaluation of what friendship/relationship means on the court is spot on. It's why basketball in high school is fun. You're playing with friends you've know for years. First and foremost you must be having a good time playing in order to perform well. You don't want to have to think about. You want to just play and let it happen. Not only did your results show the grittiness of the group, it showed the intelligence you bring to the game. Christine, come on with the CC questions. You are a professional journalist. You too, Bob. Disappointed in both of you. Lexie has so much to talk about out that isn’t Caitlin related. We all love CC but there are 11 other players on this team that all contributed in some way. Yes, even Victaria Saxton. And Lexie has a great personality and on the court she’s a beast on defense for someone her size. She ended the season as a starter and really exceeded my expectations this season.

I really liked that Christine Brennan asked Dijonai Carrington the tough questions about the finger poke of doom but jeez...those questions to Lexie Hull were absolutely ridiculous. Whose room were you in when Caitlin did the MLB play by play? Silly and borderline inappropriate. With a Master's degree in management science and engineering from Stanford, Lexie could be making a lot more money in the private sector. So I'm grateful, as a Fever fan, that she chose hoops as her passion. As a BB fan, I love watching her dart around the floor, making big defensive plays, getting huge boards, running the floor on offense, hitting big threes, etc. Hope she's back next year for the Fever!
