we sang this tonight and it was awesome. everyone pitch perfect tune and we were all given the actual ingredients and threw them up in the air during our parts. i was throwing flour and my gf was dumping the cinnamon. it sounded ethereal and it was the most fun ever

Where is the passion? Goodness, when we did this in the 70s it was the one song where we could cut loose and show some soul. Well... this and Jesus Is Just Alright.

It definitely depends on how the choral director teaches their students, so don't blame the students. I do however agree that shows with more passion and energy are a lot more entertaining to watch
