They sound great, and I’m sure they record the audio live and then mix it afterwards. But the video doesn’t always match the audio. So I guess they sometimes use the video from other takes, or edit in certain shots from them.

John Waite has always been an amazing talent. Kevin is certainly one of the very best lead vocalists of LLB. He absolutely nails this classic, and I remember him doing the same with Lionel Richie’s You Are! I could happily listen to him all day long!

I got to see him with The Baby's several times as they opened for several summer jams in the 80's.. Sadly, 2 times they were booed off the stage because people impatiently wanting the headliners sooner.. They were always class

Kevin's voice is so amazing!! What a find for LLB!!! Kevin so perfectly fits this song and "The Way It is". His passion is absolutely beautiful. His vocal nuances , interpretation, and expression draw the listener into a whole new and exciting creation from familiar material. I hope to hear Kevin often in LLB's future work. How exciting it would be to hear LLB cover The Baby's "Isn't It TIme", with Kevin as lead vocalist, including Jessica and other amazing LLB singers doing the chorus. Wow!!

Another great LLB cover! Like most Lab Band fans, I appreciate the way you guys aren't afraid to take on the big songs and then you do a remarkable job of representing the song each time. But more than that, what I really appreciate is when you take on a song that I've heard a million times back in the day but never really connected with (like this one or Lionel Richie's "You Are") and then you knock it out of the park and make me see that it was a better song than I remembered! I know it's due to great musicianship, great performances, great filming, great mixing/editing and all that, but I think on some of these songs, the secret sauce is Kevin's singing! Keep it up! I just might have to make it to the live show this year!
