@@Petergalvan high school 1986 graduate and greatest time for music like this. Yeah we bellyache about doing house chores, going to bed on time, and doing well in school. But when songs like this came on parents let us turn up the radio up a little louder. Great times

@magicae 37 You're right. After 87 it sort of stopped. There were some good songs but few and far between. From what I can recall all the great 80s music was from 80 to 85. 86 to 87 there were some good stuff but then it stopped.

Man there’s just something magical about the 80s. Everyone talks about it. Maybe it was the simpler times. High school and college. Our formative and fun years. And now as our families are growing older. Our kids go to college and break out on their own we realize we’ve crossed that line. The best times are behind us.

i saw him perform in a small Venue around this same time . Amazing performance he sounded as good as when i first saw him with the Babys in 1979 and as good as he was with Bad English 1989 . Whats crazy is the crowd at the performances looks like my parents or even my grandparents. And I think even though i Still have long hair and am not grey and really look 10 years younger then my age. Like John Waite We are that old and even though this amazing music was popular in our time . I have to accept that This Future that we currently are living in is basically devoid of anything that we found musically appealing or exciting in our days. "Oh Well" I guess that's how our parents felt about this type of music .
