Lexmark XC2132 Replacing the Imaging unit

My CX517de says I need to replace the black imaging unit AND the color imaging unit. Are these 2 separate units on the printer that both need to be replaced, or can I just replace the color imaging unit and the black will be covered? I see that I can purchase a black imaging unit separately, so this is confusing to me. Thank you.
