Lexmoto venom 125cc ride and review 2020

Bought one of these last may! I liked the upright riding position and the seat height which is ok for taller riders. Done 1700 miles now! Great for pottering around town or getting out on the country roads in the summer. Duel carriageways are not so much fun as it lacks top end speed, but a nice bike to learn on or just to have fun on.pulls away fine gets up to around 30-40 no problems Rarely use the radio but it seems to work ok. So far no complaints!

Thanks for you perspective the radio is a bit of a gimmick not many of the new 125cc bikes will do the duel carage way speeds now due to what they have to do to get the emissions down the aprilia probobly will and so will the zontes u series

Always excellent, informative videos. Seriously considering a Lexmoto. Could you rig up a microphone to your helmet so we can hear your impressions of the bike as you are riding along ?

I dont do all my videos in order and some are recorded months in advance all my new videos do have a better micraphone mountsd to my helmet because if i mount it to the bike it gets destorted

they do have a neutral light and a gear indicator

I have just got the venom SE 125 i am trying to find a wiring diagram as i am having problems with my electric can any 1 help me as lexmoto don't do them bikes no more

@@Ridingreviews there is no power to the start button but there is power in everything else and wen I turn it on it all lights up but it say.s its in gear even tho its nt something is stopping it from starting

I’ve currently got a Lexmoto Echo 50cc, soon I’ll be upgrading to a 125, I love the look of the venom but I also like the adrenaline, which would be a better first 125? I love both bikes so I’m torn between which one to get as a first big bike.

stay away from the adrenalyn their pants with many issues I would go for the venom but I would suggest you look at keeway rkr or rkf

Been actually looking for a 125 while I'm on the cbt but not sure if buying a new bike is good since ill drop it anyway plus I want to get a " proper " bike after getting the full license thing ..... 🤔🤔🤔🤔 .... definitely not a walking radio one 😋🤣

it all depends if you buy a second-hand honda you could be paying what you would for a new lexmoto with 2 years warranty but it is really a choice you need to make

I was a bit lucky i got given my brother's Yamaha 125YBR for my first bike after passing the CBT. But my opinion is you need to buy something durable and reliable.

I got a street triple r as my fun bike obv with obnoxious pipes so looking for a 125 for a local commuter. These lexmoto bikes seems to be everywhere. Has there been any issues with them? I did see a video where the petrol tank rubber seal goes bad. Did this get revised do u know. Cheers.

There are about 20 different moddels from lexmoto i dont know any with tank rubber issues sometimes they have small issues like speedoes or indicators but usbally nothing major

Lexmoto's are everywhere because they are great value and are well thought out bikes, keep em serviced and they should be ok. The Echo 50 has been top of any list for the past few years.

Do you know if changing the exhaust would void the warranty?

as long as it is a lextech one then no it shouldn't affect the warrantee but usually even if it is affected it will only be on the exhaust

i am seriously considering one of these now, seen a few vid on it and liking the idea of having one. Only issue is that i'm 5 foot 6. is that too short to safely ride a venom?

You should be fine you would have to use 1 foot on the ground but go and sit on one before you buy

Looked nippy that, does it go well compared to other chinese 125’s Chris? Looked quicker than the LXR... I’ve seen people slag the EFI Venoms off saying their slow? Cheers, great vid 👍

none of these bikes are super fast you should be looking between 60 at at first then it will get slightly quicker as you run it in but It will never be a 70 mph bike

Yes, some are eager though and like going through the gears. Some are dog poo and have no go at all, this Venom sounded keen and the gearing well thought out. The LXR seems to have a large gap between 1st and 2nd and from then on just seems to struggle with the weight?

@@davespooney8472 the lxr is a really heavy bike curb weight is about 160 kg which is at least 20 kg more than any other 125cc the venom is fairly punchy lower down things like the cruisers are support to be a bit of a slower bike they are designed to be

Aslong as they are serviced most of the time they are good most bikes are made in china or the surrounding countries sometime there are some small issues but that is what the warrantee is for
