Lexus GX 550 Overtrail in Incognito Gray! The Coolest Lexus in Years!

The 2024 Lexus GX 550 in Overtrail trim might be the coolest Lexus in years. When Lexus teased that they would be bringing back the GX, I'm not sure anyone anticipated that it would remain as rugged and capable as the current GX 460 is, and probably no one expected the boxy styling of the GX 550. The Lexus GX 550 is an amazing design, full of character and capability. Bravo, Lexus, for bringing such a cool and inspiring SUV to market. The GX 550 looks amazing from pretty much any angle, and it seems more than capable enough to continue the heritage of the GX 460. Basically the old GX was a luxury grandpa SUV that has become a popular favorite in the 4X4 community due to its brilliant offroad capabilities. Lexus have seen this and redesigned the car to look the part as well as being a beast offroad. Just proof Lexus are listening to their customers.

The Green one is basically a Land Cruiser Prado with a bigger grille. With this new GX they have made some differences, and it looks better than new LC, that also looks amazing.

Agree. Here in the states the GX always had a bit of a tough hill to climb being a Prado swathed in leather that was always a bit behind in tech and luxury despite being an absolute BEAST. The new one has a much more unique vibe, but I think we'd still take the Land Cruiser to be honest.

I really like the soft glow on the lighting. Something distinctive and highly recognizable like the Escalade. I still think the side step should be powered although heavy duty. But the square shape means maximum utility. The fact that there's are no weird curves and creases -- like the EV trend -- is the best part of the this vehicle.

I swear when i first saw this, i thought lexus severely messed up. I told myself, 'what is a luxury division building a vehicle that looks more rugged and utilitarian than luxurious and upscaled?
