Our First Drive covers the pros and cons of the brand-new Lexus GX 550 and Overtrail. In this video, we interview the Chief Engineer, Drive the SUV on and Off-Road, and cover the technical details. As the owner of a GX460 ill never drop down into a CUV. The truck nature has delivered so much value to my lifestyle that i cant get from anything else. Can wait to buy one of these in 3 years

I love this vehicle. I love videos by the Goose and Jack. I order a jack and goose on the rocks at the fanciest of taverns. Ive waited for this truck for dozens if years and can't wait to buy one used in 5 years.

At last Lexus, you've got it right! I won't buy another Lexus until they're all like this on the inside. Funny how my 2017 IS300h now seems modern when compared with this, it's like they've come full circle...

I liked the interview with the chief engineer. Intelligent design & pride in product really came through. It would be fun to see the engineer do a demo drive, explaining as he drove, translator in tow. Kudos to the translator. Both guys were very sharp.

I love it, looks great all around. Finally an SUV with manly strong looks! More companies need to do this sort of thing, I'd LOVE to see a 2 door version be an FJ or something fun.

Yes, the grille is less “Cylon” but still reminiscent of the first generation Battlestar Galactica Cylon Head/Mouth.

I like how this car is right in the sweet spot on the inside. Good tech, but not being shoved down your throat. Good controls and physical switches for what matters most, and beautifully integrated where you see them. I LOVE it

Really excited. Either this in Overtrail trim or a higher trimmed LC will be our next vehicle. I got my GF into overlanding, so she wants something boxy, somewhat capable, and roomy enough to bring the dogs with all our camping gear.
