Lexus GX470 Ditch Lights & Wireless Switch System - Getting Rid of Cheap Brackets & Lights

In this video, we take off the cheap ditch light brackets and pods. When we bought the vehicle it came with some lights and brackets that were from Amazon or eBay.
We went with one of our favorite lighting solutions from Diode Dynamics. We install a pair of SS3 Pro with some stainless steel brackets from Rago Fabrication. Now, we can have bright ditch lights without having crazy vibrations from the cheap brackets.

Probably going to want to put some wire loom and/or a rubber grommet on that main power supply cable to the switcher. Great video

Was looking into a Spod setup but this Garmin setup looks much better. I would love to see a demo of the Overlander unit as I don't think using the phone app to control the devices is a practical use case.

You do not remove brackets for ditch lights. Just add the bracket to the hood hinge.

There is always something that drains the battery a little but not enough to cause it to die
