Lexus GX470 - LED Ditch lights

In this video I show you the installation of the Nilights LED Pod lights off of Amazon. Overall, this process was quite simple even for a guy like myself who has not done any kind of wiring. Overall, they are fairly bright and I think would perform well in the outdoors. The only question now is , how long will these last? On the bright side, they do come with 4 pod lights so if one was to fry out early, there's always the other two and it's not too expense. I posted links below to the items I purchased.

Hey there, quick question. After trying to order the bracket, I was wondering what are you using for you GX? The 2005 -2015 bracket or the 2016-2020 version? Thank you for your help

Hello! A year later lol! Just finished most of the installation all I have left is to pass through the firewall (ran out of daylight while outside) is there a tip/trick to run it through the firewall inside? I was having a difficult time trying to see where that entry point is, thanks again!

Look by your foot rest underneath the steering wheel. You literally have to punch through , you will see a rubber grommet. You have to pierce through that.

How did you get the wire from the fuse box into the car itself. You said you “pushed it through” but I can’t find anywhere to do just that 🤔

There is a rubber grommet that passes through the firewall. If you look from the inside at your foot well, you will see the wiring lead from where you gas cap latch is , forward and towards the engine bay, it hugs the wall which punches into the engine compartment.

Quick question, so I ordered the light bracket off the link you provided in the description. But I'm having a hard time installing it onto the hood latch. Unlike yours that come up and curve at a 90° angle mine doesn't come up and curve at the 90° at all. Wondering if Amazon sent me the wrong product?

You could try putting the bracket in a Vice with wood so you don’t scratch it and bend the brackets to the needed angle.

I just checked and it looks llike the brackets are no longer available. Look for brackets compatible with Tacoma's. This is what these were for but fit perfect on the GX.
