Lexus HVAC air door actuator replacement RX300 2003

Hey Clay your video was AWESOME!! my 2003 Lexus Rx300 started having the same issue this week where in my case the heat was only blowing out of dash vents no floor or no windshield defrost when toggling through the modes. i bought one as well from amazon and go figure today when i was about to change it it started to work again. Nonetheless i changed it out especially with winter coming here in the midwest. It was frustrating the other day when i couldn’t get windshield to clear some so i wasn’t playing around. I give you all the credit for filming this while doing the install. it was a very easy job and the only issue i experienced was the 2 phillips head screws at top of glove box seemed like they were put in with an impact lol. Thankfully i had the correct phillips screwdriver to fit tight enough because i was afraid the head was going to strip. And bending underneath the dash while kneeling on the driveway at 60 years old is tough lol AGAIN THANKS FOR SHARING!!

Glad you enjoyed the video Kazie. l tried to take out the time consuming parts where l would show you how to unscrew a bolt or screw. Probably should have taken out the part about the cabin air filter but l figured people could fast forward through that part.

@ totally agree with you on skipping the easy parts i’ve also used you tube to change out my drivers door lock actuator there’s a real good video by a YT user for the 2003 lexus rex 300 i followed it to a T. Have a Merry Christmas Thanks Again!!
