Thanks for the video. Just bought my replacement rotors and pads and you've given me an idea of how it all works. However, what do those two safety pins do as they seem to just fit into the holes or do they apply pressure when you put the caliper back on?

Richard Hall glad I could help! This was a while ago so I’m not entirely sure, but from what I remember the pins keep the pad from rubbing against the rotor when not in use.. acts as a spreader I believe

So I’m replacing my caliber . The bolts are new should I still grease them

Yes, you want them nice and greased up in that rubber cover.

Oh my God u made the biggest rookie mistake ever!!!!!!! Never ever ever ever compress the pistons with the bleeder bolt closed. Fucking hell!!!
