The driver is not wrong about this platform being able to push larger power than the exocet. However, he could go with a V8 exocet for not a lot more than the 4 cylinder and put huge numbers down. There are a number of exocets on KZbin that weigh 1900 lbs and push out 550-600 which is starting level for an LS. Willing to bet he would spend less on that than this. I do like the car and it looks vicious but it seems like much more work than other platforms. But it is his own creation so I have to hand it to him! Nice build!

Just have a look for other cars with that engine. A toyota coupe from japan or so, then you'll surely find some aftermarket stuff. You know rhe engine code?

2gr-fse is the code. With a set of pistons you should be able to push 800 hp after looking into it for a few minutes. Pistons are a worthy upgrade and not that expensive. And it enables you to set the compression ratio, you won't be pushing far without adressing that either way unless you want to run e85 like the guy in vid. E85 has higher octane making higher compression possible. Should be fun.

I was trying to figure that out. I also have a 350 and the only thing I can think of is that it is the automatic shift knob and he is using the sports mode which lets you shift it from the shifter or the paddles.
