You did a great job taking out the starter. I have a 2008 LS460L and with all those plastic pieces, it’s hard not to break something, especially if the car is from the south. The LS has high heat generated from the V8. Great video.

Got a Right hand Ls460 from Japan, the starter just went out a week back, now my problem here is the steering shaft, it's hindering the removal of the manifold

Yeah they did a great job moving the starter from under the intake to behind the exhaust.......lol Of maybe other way around but either way great job Toyota 👏 👍

I wouldn't buy reman from a parts store. Buy reman from toyota/lexus. Not only is it sometimes cheaper by a wide margin due to local dealer discounts, its rebuilt by the same people that build the part OEM ie denso.

Thanks i went to start that job ,i told guy id charge $100 but its very hard i charged $200. Thats easy a $400job

You know... what's funny is I'm dealing with another ls460, but with valve cover leaks😐 and air suspension issues

@@partsshooter At least, the valve covers are simple and the suspension is fairly easy to deal with. Btw, this the best example of how to do an LS460 Starter that I have seen, great work!
