Lexus LX470 / Toyota Land Cruiser passenger floor mat condensation fix

Brief recap following my replacement of the AC/heater core packing to address condensation (water) leak below glove box onto passenger floor mat in 2006 LX470 (100-series Toyota Land Cruiser). Toyota Part # 88578-47040, Part Name=Heater Core Packing.

Haven't you tried the easiest option first? By cleaning the water drain and blowing air in the drain hose? 😮😮 Thanks for sharing.

Saw this link on ih8mud. Thank you! Quick question, do you just pull up to get the panel out. Also, does the new rubber gasket stay in place?

Yes - pulled up to get the panel out. New gasket was tricky to keep in place while replacing the cover. Results were initially better, but not 100% -- until I went back and tightened the screws keeping the front cover on. That additional compression has stopped the leaking entirely now. Good luck with your project!
