I noticed our language seems to be dropping certain words too in the interest of simplicity. For example instead of saying something "needs -to be- fixed", the person will say the thing "needs fixed". JR is always fixing things so he is always saying that phrase, and I noticed it with him first :D but I am also hearing it at work increasingly. Not totally sure if it is regional habit or an actual language shift .. but I do suspect the latter. Fascinating!!

Love the videos! LCD repair/replacement for cars is a growing industry with players coming and going. Please keep your eyes & ears out for a "good" company that sources replacement LCDs. Great demo as it shows why in every car, it is a nightmare and super expensive to replace the navigation screen no matter what the model is. I had a 2004 Honda Accord with a navigation screen that died after 12 years and 150,000 miles along with the transmission. The car was toast as the LCD would have cost $5000 to replace, and the transmission another $5000 - for a car worth $5000 if it ran. Suffice to say I sold it for parts as it was not worth saving.

It really is a classy gangster looking transport. I think the GS of this generation is too a very elegant machine, and the two (ES and GS) definitely have their own capabilities. I've heard this one has some guts to it being the 3.5 litre V6, so it isn't all that cushy slow looking ride. As a mechanic, Toyotas are my favourite interiors to disassemble. It's like lego! Meanwhile the European cars take some effort to take the interior apart as if they superglued the panels, the euro car interiors do rattle less in return. I install dash cams in my vehicles and like running the wire under trim pieces to hide it. Installing one on my Toyota Sienna, piece of cake. Installing one on my BMW and VW Golf took much more effort.
