I don't have any button to push for my side mirrors to fold. I only have the option and ability to adjust the left and right view angles. How do I fold these so I can go to the car wash? Love your videos. I have learned so much. You are great!

Can the mirrors be folded by hand without harming the motor or in case the motor fails?

You can do that but I would not fold them manually too much.

Hi! It’s ken .. I really like your videos.. I have 2 questions about Lexus.. I have a Lexus is250 2015. I just ok if I can buy a folding mirrors system module from eBay or amazon to put it in my car. I know that my car doesn’t have that function. Another question. I’ve seen some Lexus cars on here from 2015 or higher ..can start the engine from the key fob. Like hit the lock or unlock button( I’m not sure which one..) for 2 times, but at the 3rd times you will hold it for 5 seconds.m, it will be turned on the engine. I tried to do the same what. I’ve seen on KZbin but my car didn’t work . May be it doesn’t work on IS or something .. give me some ideas about these situations .. thank you

Great question. The GX does have power folding mirrors but they aren't automatic like the GX. You have to press a toggle switch every time.

The 2010 RX 450H looks just like that RX 350 but I guess it doesn’t have the folded mirror option.

The folding mirrors started in the 2013 models of the RX350. It also was optional and not standard equipment.

I just bought a 2015 NX Turbo and my salesman said that I would have to manually fold the side view mirrors. I didn't ask him so show me, as I assumed I would be able to do it. But I can't. I don't want to push them too hard. And I haven't been able to find anything on the internet about manual side view mirrors. The dealer is a little bit of a distance. Before I take it to the dealer, can anyone tell me how to fold the mirrors back by hand?

If it doesn't have power fold you can just push it. Check that it even has folding mirrors there should be gap between the mirror holder and mirror it self.

It does have a manual feature that you can use while the car is on and you are inside the car.

Those are not called the rear view mirror. Its called your side view mirrors....... The rear view mirror is attached to the inside of your windshield.
