I think your off by a tooth, but its a good install. After you remove the steering wheel nut but before you remove the steering wheel, use a paint market and draw a few vertical lines on the steering wheel spline to the backing of the steering wheel housing. That way you can line it all back with reference to your oem steering wheel you removed. You could get all fancy and measure the vertical lines to ensure its where the oem wheel was but being off a tooth or two doesnt really matter, but I'm just ocd like that lol..

Great video! The silver carbon looks good against the Stratus Gray interior. The only thing I would add is: When you break the 19 mm nut loose that's holding the steering wheel on the column, leave the nut threaded on just a few threads, that way once you break the steering wheel loose it doesn't come flying off potentially damaging some components/clock spring or hit you in the face lol.

When you pulled that wheel off..I was like, damn he didn't mark it. Would've made the reinstall/ alignment much faster. Wheel looks good. Maybe now she'll get you that PS5.

@@toptiermotorcars8211 you sir are absolutely right. I just replaced my wheel and ran into the same issue. BMW wheels have an arrow to know if your installed it straight or not. Lexus wheels do not have this arrow inside the steering wheel

Steering wheel looks amazing. Does the car still pull to the side. I have the same model for some reason it pulls to the right when I have my steering wheel straight. Did the alignment at the dealer and it didn’t fix the problem. I think for all these models they didn’t center the steering wheel properly. It’s not that bad but you can def see the difference driving on the highway.

yes at first it pulled to the right. i took it to the dealer and had them do an alignment but it still pulled, so i went back and requested my mechanic to do the work and he got it dailed in. he said from factory the wheel is not centered correctly. he took in on and off the machine 3 times to get it perfect.

They covered it for me. Cuz they replaced a front shock cuz it was blown and after that I noticed it pulling so it was on their end
