Lexus Sc300 Exhaust Sound with Headers 2JZGE

Car has Flowtec headers on it, cheap but good quality. Then 1 random 12 inch resonator from a muffler shop I had put in before the Y pipe, and Tanabe Medalion Touring mufflers. No drone, and just right amount of loudness in the cabin.

Going for this exact and I mean exact sound and setup. Going on a Is300 so single exit only. Is this cat back, axle back, or just stock piping with mufflers? I have gs300 myself too amd I would not recommend it, with no cats the car will sound like raspy as hell, unless you have really good resonator or muffler. In the video he said he has a 12 inch resonator and tanabe muffler, that's why he has little to no rasp.

The headers itself don't make the rasp. Best to leave the OEM resonators and it sounds awesome. Tho I'm plannin on making stainless 3.5" exhaust with one vibrant resonator just for fun before going turbo.

Should I buy one for $1000? no rust. The problems are, i a exhaust manifold donut leak on motor, clear coat coming off, crack on windshield passenger side, haven’t test drove yet

Sounds kinda sketch for 1k. Exhaust manifold gasket is an easy fix, same with the windshield. I’d ask about general maintenance of the car and see it in person, check the rear subframe to see any signs of rust that wasn’t mentioned. For a running decent car sc’s usually go for 3k minimum
