@@Aiurasensei Ebay. Five years ago. I'm sure the ones you find now will cost quite a bit more, but they are the best. Bolt in and my head longer hits the roof at the sunroof bulge. I'm 6'2" tall. I have about 2" of head clearance now. They weigh about 1/3 of the original seats. Came from a right hand drive car, so the JDM driver's seat with the power movements is on the passenger side now. My seat is full manual operation, just the way I like it. Spent over $600 on Ridies leather seat covers, diamond tuck style. Luv It !

The compressor housing on my turbo hits the manifold if I point it straight down. So I’m forced to run it angled to the side. Would be nice if I could hide it though

To do the swap (1jz vvti) with the trans it would be about $6500 bought separately, additional cost for everything else only using stock ecu would be +2-4k . Say you find a clean ish car that’s 7-10k . 17-20k in total with the car, Soarers are about the same price if you import one yourself with help. So if you want to wrench then get an SC, if not, save the headache and get a manual soarer

The stock 2 bolt O2 sensor welded into the downpipe. About 15 inches away from the turbo. About an inch behind it is my Wideband O2 sensor for my AEM gauge

@@2jdm_UZZ40 the MAF is still in the same position it was when I had my CX kit on with the twins. I just cut the pipe and shortened it to fit. Using a 4 to 3 inch coupler. The stock MAF only likes 3 inch and likes to be pointed a certain way how it is in the video. Took a bit of tweaking. Also the car dies A LOT first getting used to it; Since there’s no recirculating BOV, the MAF compensates by dumping fuel when you let off of the throttle too soon and between shifts since it isn’t getting that reading of extra air it’s supposed to, so it dumps fuel and chokes the car out. Takes some getting used to. I’m not sure if it’ll act the same with an auto trans though

@@JZZjules I've got an auto with an HKS SQV 4 BOV with no issues. Got rid of the recirc valve so 🤷🏾‍♂️ some people have moved the MAF to the cold side maybe for this reason for a more accurate reading?

Sounds good but doesn't sound like a 2JZ-GTE I'm used to hearing in a Supra with exhaust. Is it the VVT-i ? Twin scroll turbos also really change the exhaust note.

The vvti definitely plays a factor but it’s also the HKS Carbon Ti. It muffles the exhaust too much. Planning on switching to a tomei expreme ti

@eclipsetrekker has nothing to do with the vvti, lol. That myth was put to rest like almost 2 decades ago. Only thing wrong with VVTI is it is an interference engine. The sounds you are missing are simply a BOV and exhaust setup. Not to mention he didn't redline it 🤣

@@JZZjules u might need to add it because injectors have a minimum duty in milliseconds so 1300 with just a 450lph pump might not work but I’d ask ur tuner about it to get a more firm answer

Temp gauge on the cluster is broken, I have a separate AEM gauge that I use. And eventually I’ll ship out the cluster to get it fixed but I’m just lazy lol

I’m considering picking up an SC300 for a first car mostly because it’s a Toyota Supra without the huge price tag. I want to tune it to potentially slightly improve the power output, but also to improve the sportiness of the car (achieved with some new Sparco wheels, some Michelin pilot all seasons cuz I can’t afford to have 2 sets of tires, and some Bilstein B16s with the proper stance for a more track-oriented driving feel; no I’m not trying to stance the shit out of this, and no one can change my mind). I’ve also been trying to find wide body kits for the car so I can have better weight distribution and reduced body roll. However, I don’t have a lot of money to bust on building a car, and since it’s a first car, I’m also trying to keep it stock enough to which I can use it as my daily. Additionally, parts specific to the car area hard find because the car isn’t popular within the JDM market, so trying to find body kits and hoods from reputable sellers is difficult. Is there anyone who could help me out? Edit: I’m also gonna be a complete beginner, going into this project with absolutely no knowledge of how to tune a car, or what upgrades to get. That’s why I’m asking the question

The SC300 is a very heavy car... That is it's main issue with being sporty... It can make good power with the right engine, but it's always going to be a rolling brick as far as handling...

@@804MRMAN I owned an SC300 for years, it is known to be extremely heavy for what it is and has a ton of body roll. Im sure its great for drifting due to being stupid heavy all in the front end with a light ass on it, but as far as cornering and overall handling its just not good at that.

Nothing beats a Porsche, but for a car, that's 3600 pounds, it rides with the best of them! It's a multi-link system, so tuning and tweaking the suspension is easy, yet expensive.

I do have a tiny bit of boost creep with this setup but wasn’t sure if it was my manifold or not. It’s about .2/.5 psi by the time I reach redline. Do you have any suggestions for a more efficient setup for the manual boost controller?
