I hate to deflate your balloon but belts are not the problem. The two motors that you applied voltage to have worm gears on the bottom that are cracked, causing them to slip. Replacing the belts will give the appearance of repairing the problem but it will malfunction again.

Radioman, what is your view on the solution. That is, were does one get the gears and how easy it is to install them? My CD is also failing and making a kinda buzzing/grinding sound when trying to eject the CD. Eject, load, etc does not work. The sound continues even after the vehicle is turned on.

@@justsomeguy4941 The replacement of the gears is a difficulty level of about 15 on a scale of 10. the gears can be obtained from any salvaged unit or they can be repaired with epoxy.

I have a 6 cd changer for a 2006 Toyota sienna. When I connect it, it says..."loading" but that's it Nevers accepts CDs. I don't hear any noise or moving.

How did you get the disc changer out of the vehicle? Did you have to disassemble the console?

You take the electronics out starting from the bottom, then work your way up

i have a ls 460 the radio works fine but the cd stacker is dead does nothing took it too a electrician hoping waiting for a phone call and my phone rang and he said we cannot fix it you can send it too australia and they can look at it the cost would be 1200 dollars and no gaurantee they can fix it i still have to pay no thanks very upset the mark levinson sounds awesome on radio love to hear it on cd anybody got any ideas please any help would be grateful cheers

Did you pull the unit from your Lexus? Mine is giving me error 4 problems. Trying to troubleshoot it...

@@paolo-n2000 Yeah I pulled it out after putting the RX into neutral, it slide out with ease actually. Then I disconnected the 2 plugs and the 3 wire connection pieces (these needed a screwdriver)

Japyota? Lexus? oh,yeah,the stack got stuck again... this pos Lexus IS 220D has no sound,the Mark Levinson 10 speaker and Amp sound system does not produce 1 sound,possibly because for 1 year now the customer has 6 Cds stuck inside; dealer can't diagnose it, wants to put it all new!! the price to replace those POS units, CD,radio,gps,touck screen, Nav etc is more than the car is worth.. they are ALL interconnected,the japs MADE SURE that you'd JUNK the car (AND buy another one...) sooner ... Japyota? avoid the othere? i don't k now,looking into that now, on **KZbin**
