Lexus/Toyota only drivers window works. 0$ Master window switch reset for seizure. Simple quick easy

In this video I’m going to show you how to make your Lexus RX windows function from your master window switch if they are not working as long as all your other windows are working this procedure will help you. So if none of your windows work from your master switch but they work from the other switches this is the procedure to reset the master window switch.

I've been in the bodyshop business for over 40 years. Two Lexus's (Lexi?) ago, I had this same problem and after spending hundreds of dollars on new switches, etc, I finally gave up. (the car got totaled) I purchased a 2008 and the same thing happened. I've programmed many auto up and down windows but never had all four go out. Point is, after doing some work on this Lexus, the windows didn't work and I thought "here we go again". I googled this and found this video and it actually worked. THANKS!

Yeah I remember doing this and having to do some research to figure this situation out and I thought what about if somebody doesn’t know this because I didn’t know it…. I thought it was kind of a dumb design but I guess at least it worked I don’t know why it would be necessary to even make it possible to reprogram the door switch. If I had to do over again I would have to go to this video……..

Thank you so much for this video. Had a repair on my 2008 Lexus RX 350 yesterday and when I got it back the windows would not work from the driver's main switch. The mechanic said the main switch was bad because the windows worked from each door, just not my main switch. I had a feeling that was not the case, did a quick google search and found your video. Went outside and tried what you said, bingo, all of my windows work again! Thank you!!!

Oh wow!!! I have 2008 RX 350 and the master switch was not working on any of the windows. Followed the instructions in the video and it worked. I am able to roll down all my windows from the master switch. I’m super happy. Thanks!!!!!🎉

Just ended up having my alternator replaced. Inevitably they disconnected the battery. And did not think to check the windows. Your tip was the solution thank you. Good job. I accidentally rolled all my windows down holding the unlock switch too long. Now the only window I can roll down is the drivers window. I cannot roll the other three windows up.

It is April 16th 2023. I changed my battery for my 2004 Lexus RX330 and had this problem. I came across this video, followed the step and the problem was solved. The passenger side mirrow was also not working and that was also fixed. Thank you for sharing this.

For those with keyless start you can do all 4 at once but you may need two people. Turn on the car... hold the window down (open) of the window you are working on while simultaneously holding down the master window button (front passenger hold down the front passenger button on the master window switch) hold then both on the open position for 3-5 seconds and then hold them in the closed position for 3-5 seconds. After each one the master window switch will regain control of the window.
