@@andybenz6579 Well yes. But the previous IS was the 2nd Generation platform and the GS is a different size class so this will go against the M3 and the C63 really well in a modern context. Already has a distinct advantage with a N/A V8 imo

Sad thing is other cars sound even better, Alfa Romeo giula is just one example v6 twin turbo stock sounds 10x better than this , The c63s being another one too. Lexus just can’t compete with those other German/Italian brands.

Lexus sells there cars for the same price or more compared to those German brands so your not getting your money’s worth when you go with something like Lexus. The only good thing going for Lexus , is it’s so called reliability which is controversial when comparing to German brands as you can find a thousands owners who said there cars never had a single problem and another thousand that did(example) .

@@toshi7220 Lol. I’m on my 4th because my 3rd, ES, got totaled. I wanted the RC but my old school train of thought is I need a sedan not a 2-seater. My brother-in-law got one and he loves it. He likes it better than his Camero and Mustang. I told him, do you see why this is my 4th? I looked at the Mercedes E class, BMW 5 series (didn’t want to spend the money on the S class or 7 series) and Tesla. The Lexus body just stands out.

RC is just pure joy and its rarity (coupe isnt popular anymore) makes it stand more from crowds as well, but yes it won't work on some ppl due to small seats on back. The new ES is a beauty to look at!

I need to grow up, change my way of thinking and realize I can have a sports car too and don’t need the ‘family’ sedan or SUV vehicle as an empty nester. Yes, the reliability and maintenance is top notch. I had my ES for 11 years, around 205,000 miles, did regular maintenance and no problems. The 2nd and 3rd was bought the same time, his and hers, ES and RX. At first I drove the RX but ended up with the ES. I rebought the ES, 2020, and because of COVID, it have less than 5000 miles on it now. The LS was to big for me and the GS is discontinuing. Maybe the next one will be the RC or newest equivalent.

I wouldn't. It kills the soul of a V8 sedan. Unless they do something like AMG's Drift Mode, it's better off as a RWD. I am a fellow Ontarian and I never had a problem with my 2009 E63 driving on snow (mounted on Michelin Alpin PA4's).
