i d like to hear some more of your thoughts about the 58vsK9 hand in 1:03:00. How about check raising the river? i guess after a check on the river from you he would have to bet whatever hand he is calling the 195k, so what about check-raising from your part? If you were in his shoes and got a check on the river would you bet-call, bet-fold or check back?

He has very strict BRM allowing only 0.0001% of his winnings to go into his equipment. That's how pro he is.

Lex, you are a real inspiration. Thanks for teaching me so much and keep up the fantastic work. P.s. I was watching your stream today and I noticed in the 10k you had FeriBo tagged as a fun player. His name is Fahredin Mustafov and he is a very good pro who has over 1mil in live winnings including a 10k high roller win where he defeated Ike Haxton heads up

1:03:40 ben talks about a protection bet on K52 board with 85dd and then the next hand he talks about checking KQ on QTx, basically because you can bet fold the first hand or bet then evaluate turn on a diamond or obviously if you make 2 pair/trips. You also talk about checking to protect 99, you mean if you check call, you can do it 2 streets and get a check back on the river? correct?
@JJLiberman6 жыл бұрын
on the river you say you would not bet to protect yourself when you have pocket 9's, can you explain that more? Do you mean protect yourself as in getting value owned?

The first hand you asked ben how big you should size your queen high flush,do you think that covering the other stacks on the table for future bounty's is also a factor that you have to consider in this matter?

I've watched every old school video since you started and the majority of all the other uploads. I love what you're doing! Looking forward getting home from work to watch this Bencb episode, already know it'll be great! I would like if you could include more hands in your old-school series that doesn't go to show down. Would be nice hear you criticize good/bad folds. Keep up the good work! ❤

For sure, this shit here is awesome. This is like, I'm not gonna lie, one of the best poker theory videos I've ever seen. And I'm not even playing tourneys nor bounties. You can also adapt a lot of spots 1:1 to cash games. Just fuckin nuts.

don't agree with calling off the AK... A lot of draws get there. Think it was a good fold. Gto is obviously optimal but only in theory.

I'm very skeptical of what bencb said at 20 min. I feel the typical rec player definitely folds 88s for 80k here

Alexander, Do you ever feel like you're playing on autopilot? As for that AJ hand in the $10k WCOOP, it clearly was just a case of bad timing but why did you leave $20k behind after the 3 bet only to call off knowing you were probably beat if not crushed (4 bet shove vs early raise and 3 bettor). Were you hoping that other short stacks were gonna bust before you timed out?

I don't agree with bencb point on the ak suited hand where button three bet, he's saying if u four bet and he flats, he has to call jams with pairs and then ur behind when u miss and he is getting great off plus the bounty?
