This was really sad. You can’t trust anyone not even family. I remember going out for my twenty first birthday. It was 6 of us but we ALWAYS had two people not allowed to drink. One was my cousin and she didn’t drink or smoke at all. I remember dancing and they all but one stayed near me the whole time. They even had to cuss some dudes out trying to dance with me lol 😂. That one supposed friend said they were looking for her and called the police but when the cousin came to pick her up they told him they didn't know where she was. I definitely agree with those who say that your coworkers are NOT your friends (unless you were friends before the job.) In my 20s, a (federal) coworker invited me to her place to so-called hang out and drink with another coworker. I was never a social butterfly, but she and I had started talking like friends. I thought it was cool to go to her place for the first time. Once I got there, we started drinking. The conversation was not about much, and the food was almost non-existent. Whatever was in the food or drink messed my stomach up REALLY BAD (to the point of uncontrollable bm💩) Long story short: they had planned to have a 3some without my consent (grape my unconscious body.) The 2 women had been secretly messing around sexually, and chose me as a target in their sick plan. Although I survived the night, I still have no clue what they fed me. This was about 17-18 years ago. I abandoned that job not too long after that. In the workplace, there can be a lot of jealousy, envy, and competition. The people you work with cannot be equated to the family and friends you actually have in your personal life. Some of us had to learn the hard way though 😢

To add to that point of overcommuniting. Also text the environment, are friends acting shady, are they already lit, are they on something more than normal. I'm an 80s baby and me and my friends watched out for one another, we ran plays to get us away from ppl, we had looks and signals. We went to the restroom in pairs, we spent the night together if too drunk to get home, my mom asked for who I was going with, sometimes even they drivers license information and car information. We can never be too sure of our surroundings. We are living in the last days. The greater love had cooled off.

So many things just don’t add up. It’s almost lyke in the last few years ppl that go out with “friends” on bday trips end up meeting their demise. Lyke it’s a trend or something! I definitely believe the coworkers had something to do with it & they are covering something up. & to charge the family to search is utterly ridiculous! I feel like the so called friends are responsible. If they knew she was drinking before boarding the boat and intoxicated while enjoying her birthday then why would they allow her to go to the bathroom alone??!!!! This young lady has two little children and works. There's probably no time for a social life, so the only people she sees the most are her "work friends". Unfortunately, work friends are usually only just that, friends you have at work. And that doesn't always flow right when it comes to your personal off work life. She was a young mother of two celebrating her 21st birthday. These work friends probably didn't really care for her. They didn't seem loyal. They didn't stick by here. And couldn't keep their stories straight. They appear to be only looking out for themselves. This is such a sad situation. I feel so sorry for her mother and her little children. I hope the truth comes out and this is resolved. Being missing from a harbor cruise and found weeks later washed ashore having drowned is not a natural death. It may have been an accident but cannot be ruled out. There should be an investigation. The way it was swept under the rug so fast by authorities, leads me to believe that there is some type of unjust situation.
