First off, mad respect for continuing this even with twitter being insufferable. Secondly, the parents are pure evil. They are not innocent in the SLIGHTEST. They thought that since Andrew was so "easy" at literally two years old they could have another kid. And when said kid was too much for them they left Andrew to raise Ashley himself. She grew up completely isolated with no support system but her parentified brother (who has romantic feelings for her isn't that great). They not only didn't bother to raise her, but went out of their way to pretend she didn't exist. They skipped her birthdays, pushed her on Andrew if she needed something and literally didn't even get her a CHAIR to sit on the table with them. Mrs. Graves was obviously cruel and neglectful and their dad just the abuse continue on without a word because he didn't care. He literally didn't even remember Andrew's name. And these are only SOME of the despicable things they do. Even when acting all nice trying to get Andrew to side with them, they're being intentionally deceptive (more on that next route). They let their clearly struggling children fester in their mental health and codependency issues BEFORE the Nina incident. They are the core reason why our two deeply messed up protags are as messed up as they are. They should not be left off the hook. Edit: Forgot to add, but while on the topic of being evil, Andrew is just as bad if not worse than Ashley is. He's not at all an unwilling victim of Ashley in the least. This whole family is an utter dumpster fire.

​@TheStudioArchitect She does emotionally manipulate him, but Andrew's far from an unwilling participant in most of the horrible things they do. The two of them just continuously enable one another's worst traits, and in the case of Andrew, Ashley gives him an excuse to avoid having to take responsibility for his actions. Because it's so easy for him to convince himself that Ashley made him do it, or he did it for Ashley, or Ashley would've just done it anyway. The only exceptions to this, the only times he ever showed guilt, are killing their parents in the Decay route and Nina, because he couldn't justify those to himself. Not to mention that Andrew's entirely capable of manipulating people and using them for his own purposes, and I'd go so far as to say he's better at it than Ashley. You mainly see this with the cultst if you visit the club a second time and with Julia. He's incredibly emotionally detached from both his actions and pretty much anyone who isn't Ashley.

@TheStudioArchitect Honestly, I'd still say that makes Andrew worse. Because Ashley seems to lack any real morality or sense of what's right or wrong. She just, psychologically, doesn't have the capacity for it. But Andrew knows that much of what they do is wrong, and for one reason or another, does it anyways. And IMO, that makes him just as bad, if not worse. But hey. At the end of the day, they're both fucked-up and horrible people, and the fact that people can have serious debates over who's worse and make good arguments for either one shows what good characters they are.
