Never been a fan of documentaries in youtube, but your video trully needs more appreciation and most importantly subscribers. The script, the footage, the story build up, and the necessary dramatic vibes. Made your channel very comfortable to watch and hooked everyone fromt the start. LFA just lacked numbers. Single-clutch gearbox was slow and it wasn't anywhere near fastest accelerating cars. That fast-revving engine, digital tachometer and F1 sound were marketing BS, the car wasn't that fast overall, it was underwhelming for its very high price ($400K iirc), so people got lambos and gt-r's instead.

I have already commented on how much i truly love your work. This time i'm here with a little revision: Nicola Materazzi was not the father of the EB110, he engineered the Bugatti Edonis, the successor of the EB110. On the subject of the EB110, i had the chance, honor and privilege, to meet my fellow colleague Materazzi in Modena, a few years ago. We spoke at length about, you guessed it, cars While speaking about the EB110, he referred to the use of 4 turbos, with a LEGENDARY quote that he has also repeated in some interviews "By using 4, i repeat 4, turbos, they made complicated what was previously easy, by going through the useless" He passed away a few months ago, and after him, also went another italian Legend, Mauro Forghieri, Rest In (Horse)Power to both legends

Dude, the storytelling is epic. You earned a sub, and i can't wait to see you make more content like this. This is an absolute masterpiece of a video. I never cared much about the LFA. I didn't know any of this when I saw the car take almost a decade in development, and what came out of development was a $300,000 car, that while beautiful and sounding like God's Trumpet between 6k and 9k RPM, it ultimately couldn't keep up with a very heavy $75,000 GTR. The GTR is a hefty girl with only a V6, and people say it lacks soul, but obviously making $100,000 GTR worked out better for Nissan than the 10 years of development and billion plus dollars spent, causing the LFA to have a $300,000 price tag. Only people who had a many millions of dollars ever considered buying a new LFA, while the rest of the guys that just like to drive fast cars and aren't multi millionaires bought a GTR to have fun at the track or drive around on some nice twisty backroads on the weekends. Having said all that, the LFA is, and probably always will be one of, if not the absolute best sounding cars ever made. The noise it makes is absolutely glorious. I can only think of a couple flat plane crank V12's that might come close. I'm not even sure a 458 Italia compares, and that car sounds great! There probably won't ever be a better sounding engine in a street legal car sold to the public.

Target market bro. Toyota priced themselves out
@catch22frubert Жыл бұрын
@@destroyerarmor2846 I know. Its really unfortunate that Toyota started developing this car just before computing power went way up, and computer modeling software was just getting started. If only Toyota started Developing this car in 2015 instead of way back in 2000, they could had developed the car much faster and the car would had been done in half the time, cost less to develop, and been more relevant at a lower price point. I doubt Toyota will be developing any other naturally aspirated V10 Super Cars ever again. It sucks that they just missed the best window of time to do it. The Carbon Fiber thing really set them back a lot, and if they just held off for 10 years before developing the LFA, they would had known how to make carbon fiber and had way better computer hardware and software to work with.
