I did the exact same thing to my fender, on the driver side as well. These fenders are very thin and rolling them is a PITA. They warped when I was rolling, then I had a guy fix them. So I only messed up the bondo and not fresh Paint. Car is getting raised up this weekend. Your Paint guy is a beast so he’ll get you back straight💪🏾

My XXR 531s came in over a week ago and my tires just came in today. I have the same size tires you got for your Mk3 Supra. I think I’m going to step it up to 295/35/18 next time in the rear - I they could use a bit more sidewall height. I have not mounted the front 245/40/18 wheels yet; however, I’d imagine they’d need to be bumped up to 255/40/18 as well.

340 Supra Though I haven’t mounted/balanced the back wheels yet, considering the back is a bit skinny and I ordered the front to have to same profile height as the back, I think the front is going to need more meat/profile height.

755hp I can without a doubt tell you that 295/35/18 will rub under the fenders in rear if its not raised up pretty high, mk3’s with rake look so sexy though so you might have to stance it that way. I have 285/35 and fenders are rolled all the way up in back with 15 offset on 18x9.5” wheels and they poke just enough to spit dirt and crap on body. And the outer fender edge sits right on the tire if I compress it up. A buddy of mines has 265/35 on 10.5 wheels but he also has modified fender flares it looks so good!

I'm no professional, but the 7m isn't supposed to run 80 psi oil pressure at idle... tbh I would shim mine to have like 20-30psi at idle so it would peak at like 80 psi. Too much pressure will just cause extra strain on the oil pump, and heat up the oil by just having to compress it so much.... just my two cents...

Jonathan Gardner 20-30 is stock numbers.. 7Ms from factory already have oil pressure issues with those numbers. Also i deleted my oil squirters since i now have forged internals so that made a difference as well (higher readings)

Shimming your cold-oil bypass valve is an old internet urban legend that doesn't do anything but stress your oil pump out when your oil is cold. It doesn't actually do anything when the engine is warm. The bypass valve is only in use when the oil is cold and thick, and the oil pump cant push it through the orifices in the engine. You risk shearing your oil pump shaft or drive gear by doing it. Just don't.

WN Continental Broadcasting u shouldnt have to lift up the back. People always put the engine and trans in at an angle drop down, and re adjust the jack and lift it level again and drop back in

Hey, so I found a MK3 Supra and im in the country so no one knows about it :) He blew the head gasket and its been sitting for 7 years. With just that information which is all I know, any advice you can give me or what to expect with the engine or anything else? The research I've done so far is to fix common issues which would be the head gasket problems.

Make sure to check out the inner rear wheel wells and if possible, remove the trim around the area where the rear shocks sit. There will almost always be rust in those areas, it just depends on how much and if you are able to fix it

It's a Toyota man, that's why people get these things. A huge amount of MK3 owners daily them. Just make sure the headbolts are tight or the head gasket is replaced and keep up on maintenance. I drive my 88' everyday and I'm still in love with it.
