I went to the first signing in Toronto, and I remember seeing Steve walk in with his cardboard cutout and just look around for a second to ultimately shake his head in disbelief. It was an awesome experience to just be around all those people, make friends in line, and to be able to meet Steve, who was so kind to every single person. Also the Easter seals guy was there and Steve screamed and picked him up, only later to tell me that he regretted that because of his back 😂 Great experience, great guy 😊 glad we can show our support

Steve, never sell yourself short. I’ve read the book front to back, yes it’s main focus is around hockey. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but there’s way more to it then just hockey. Being a small channel it’s inspired me in ways I never knew possible. Your advice about KZbin, amazing, the bit on mental health, encouraging...you deserve all the attention over this book. Trust me. My uncle introduced me to your videos just over a year ago, and nowadays they are something I look forward too. Steve, this is important to your life. You must hear this information. Macaroni and cheese is best served with beef brisket. March for the maple leafs reminds me of the voyager episode Year of Hell. Another thought: i constantly see blue checkmark people give credit to EVERY GOALIE TORONTO PLAYS. That either means 1 of 2 things: every goalie toronto plays is the best goalie in the league (not possible) or they have no finish. It could be oct-dec balancing out when they'd score 4 goals in 12 shots but that's not a comforting thought. more proof for the theory: EVERY OTHER TEAM DESTROYS THESE GOALIES.

Bad slump for the buds, but honestly they could've easily scored 6+ goals in this game. There isn't much to take home here except sometimes you run into some bad luck, and the refs hate the Leafs ( what the hell was that call at 2 mins left in the 3rd ). Only thing that worries me is that Sparks just.... isn't ready for NHL play, need to get some seasoning on that kid still.

My Capitals team that wasn’t supposed to win the Stanley Cup also had Alex Ovechkin aka The Russian Machine aka The Great 8, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Carlson, Oshie, and fully armed and operational Braden Holtby, who has one of the best postseason save percentages IN NHL HISTORY, and yet It STILL took people like Devante Smith-Pelly and Nathan Walker to end our suffering, saying nothing of “The Save.” We had to go through the gauntlet of Bobrovsky, Murray (Crosby too), Vasilevskiy, and then Marc-Andre Fleury, who was in God mode at the time. I wish you all the best and I hope you don’t run into us.

Yeah I think re-signing Nylander was a mistake. Seeing you guys play against the Flyers pre-January was like watching an out-of-control ferocious monster, now they're a shell of a team anytime I see them play. I don't think it's on Babcock, I truly believe that Dubas caved in to Nylander's demands. Steve's not going to agree but it destroyed the momentum the team had and they've been unable to be fully in the swing of it since. They'll probably get it together again next season when everyone's at training camp together.

Here's a scary thought I've been having lately: Marincin is actually looking better than Zaitsev a lot of the time. And that's because two things have happened: Marincin's AHL time seems to have had a positive effect. He's better than he was 12 months ago; kudos to him and the Marlies coaching staff. And Zaitsev has somehow turned into a turnover machine. Much of the time, he does get the puck out of the zone ... but seldom under the Leafs' control.
