@yodieyuh
@yodieyuh 4 жыл бұрын
1970 in general is the birth for sure, due to a number of albums that include... 2 Sabbath albums (the most consistent 'metal' of 1970) 2 Atomic Rooster albums (heavy organ, heavy grooves...first album all organ/bass - no guitar) 2 Uriah Heep albums (heavy catchy grooves with guitar + organs, fantasy lyrics, proggy) 1 Deep Purple album (heavy organ + guitar, thrash/chug predecessor) 1 Zeppelin album (Zep 3 is lighter than 1-2, but gallop/chug in Immigrant Song is hard to ignore) 1 Sir Lord Baltimore album (hot riffs + hot licks + hot leads + hot solos + hotter licks + hotter....)

Jimi Hendrix and Black Sabbath are from the same time period, but different genres of music. Hendrix was more blues, whereas Black Sabbath were the fathers of heavy metal. War Pigs is another Vietnam War protest song, talking about how the government/politicians treat people like little pawns/puppets and send them out to fight wars the government started. Look up the lyrics. Being a drummer of many years myself, Bill Ward (Sabbath) and John Bonham (Zeppelin) were big influences of mine.

One guitarist. 1 bassist 1 drummer. Bass player plays thier asses off when the guitarist would do a lead just to fill the void of silence from the missing rhythm guitar. Black Sabbath, Grand Funk, Queen woukd do it as well when Freddie was just singing and not on piano or any instrument.

You just witnessed the architects of metal with one of their early compositions that will withstand the test of time for millennia. You overlooked the bassist that was tearin the roof off along with the guitarist in their own way. The bass needed to be louder in the mix. They all compliment each other to come up with that monsterous sound out a three instruments. Ozzy with air raid like vocals got people into the show by watching the ultimate metal front man go crazy on stage. Like Led Zepp, when Black Sabbath met there was synchronicity, the alignment of the planets, the gears of the Universe all working to put these men together to change music forever. They created a genre of music that didn't exist. People were stunned after seeing Sabbath, and nobody was gonna stop Sabbath with any heavy riff. they were the IRONMEN OF METAL.

Great reaction man. War Pigs if one of my favorite Black Sabbath songs. And can you believe that young singer from 1970 is Ozzy Osbourne. I hope you react to more Black S Sabbath. I subscribed because of this reaction. Keep up the good work man. 👍 I recommend Sabbath Bloody Sabbath for, I think, one of the heaviest guitar riffs of all time. I also recommend Snowblind, the album version. Also, I very highly recommend Sabbra Cadabra & Sweatleaf. I wish the best of success with your channel. ~Danny Marz

First metal band ever. This is THE reason every metal band exists. Motorhead, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Overkill, Kreator... All of em... And many MANY more. They owe their unreal image, god-like sound and brutal attitude technique of playing to Black Sabbath: Frontman Ozzy Osbourne, Guitarist Tony Iommi, Drummer Bill Ward and Bassist Geezer Butler.

Another classic you should see from way back, Jimi Hendrix. His live version of, hey Joe, is great. Hendrix was an absolute legend and played the guitar like a mad man.

Honestly man, after this you gotta check out “dazed and confused” by Led Zeppelin or “The art of dying” by Gojira (the drums are nuts on this song). Either way glad to see you like the classics metal tracks, great reaction!

Six Paths Uchiha It was the second song they wrote. The lyrics were written by Ozzy Osbourne. It was the first ever Metal song. The official beat club videos is creepy as hell. Rob Halford said it’s the darkest and most frightening song ever written. I agree with Mr Halford.

I always find it interesting that the powers that be(Governments), condemned music like this, saying it was the devil's music, when in fact, it was completely the opposite....Black Sabbath was warning us about the Government, & what damage they are doing to mankind!!! ***HEAVY METAL MUSIC, ALWAYS HAS A POLICAL MESSAGE, IF YOU LISTEN FOR IT***
