LG 27GS60QC-B Gaming Monitor Unboxing

I just ordered this monitor, it will be my second monitor ever upgrading from 1080p. Never had curved before. Fingers crossed it works out for me:) Thank you for the videos on this! Got it for black friday. I was looking into Oled but for the price, and for the fact that I don't technically play a lot of NEWWW games, I shot lower and I think I will be happy with the upgrade to ~2k and a bigger screen. One thing I am worried about his the stand-- I don't see that I can raise the screen at all, and that's something I constantly mess with on my Acer. Hopefully I can adjust my eyes to the curved screen at that angle.

I just got this and it's my first curved. Loved it immediately, it just feels right. I put it on a glass riser that's adjustable.

Just got the monitor (27") and recommended arm. The arm is such a game changer!! I can only say that if you have two monitors just jump into a dual arm setup instead!

Yeah I mean monitors with higher refresh rates will allow higher fps so you can more frames faster.

Just bought this yesterday and it arrives today! Love the review and happy you showed yourself playing black ops because that game is the exact reason I bought it. I would love to know some of ur monitor settings that would benefit me as a ps5 user. For example I know the ps5 only supports up to 120hz but should I have the monitor set at 180hz? Other things I saw in the settings like black light and stuff if you can just maybe give a little run down id truly appreciate it. Thank you again.

It'll cap out at 120 mate, it's a hardware limitation on the consoles. Regardless of monitor 120 is the cut off. Very few games outside of competitive esports titles that actually support it

Im eyeing the 32 inch variant for my ps5 and also a pc, does it have adaptive sync? Isnt that whats needed for vrr on a ps5

It does have adaptive sync but unfortunately the PS5 only allows VRR through HDMI 2.1, this has HDMI 2.0. It does VRR with the Xbox consoles just not the PS5 unfortunately.

@ There is a setting in the monitor settings that's supposed to turn that auto-diming feature off, but it doesn't work at all. LG messed up pretty bad and made the monitor unusable.

Just got the monitor. Tested it out and messed with the settings. BOOM turned off, turned back on, then turned off again, repeated 😂 I was freaking out. It never stopped turning off and on again until I download software. No other problems afterward but I’ll update y’all if any other issues occur again. But I was so close to just returning it, left a bad impression first tbh.
