Well you are seeing this monitor from a very gamer prospective anything above 27 inches is recommended for gaming (fps) and the main people buying this monitor are going to sit back and enjoy story games and not everyone has 800 dollars in their pocket for a monitor . Great video keep growing ✌️✌️

The main reason for me even making this video was the frustration of ghosting I got when scrolling through the web or trying to read through scientific journals for uni. my initial reaction to the ghosting was the same, I thought the 32in size and deep blacks were worth it though since I don't play many games with it and mainly use it for software development. and the 165hz is nice for just everyday use and smoothness imo. I did turn on the fps mode for the monitor though and turned the blue light filter and brightness to my liking and the ghosting is about 10% of what it originally was. I've gotten used to the ghosting tbh, and i got the monitor for about 140 dollars from ebay certified refurbished so I can't complain for the price. It is a gaming monitor though and honestly it's not bad for gaming, maybe for competitive fps genres like csgo and valorant but casually playing overwatch or mmo's are very enjoyable.

Almost fell to the same spec trap. I wanted to search for a cheap, HFR 1080p display. Almost went with a Koorui one for ~$120, glad I didn't and ponied up for a Lenovo G24-20 at $150. Looked like someone put a color filter on the Koorui display.

I got this monitor with my new PC to enjoy some 2k gaming at high fps but this monitor just looks horrible in dark lightning, I thought I could maybe get used to it but the ghosting gets so bad at times that in games like metro exodus i just cant understand whats happening if i move my camera around too fast. I think im gonna go with 4k 144hz IPS since my PC can handle and just want a clear quality image to look at when gaming (im not into competitive games)

The latter is an issue that plagues both low end and high end displays equally. It has relatively poor contrast and it fails at rendering deep blacks, all of which are especially noticeable in dark lighting. IPS panels have more saturated colors and poor contrast when compared to VA, which has zero backlight bleed or reflection issues and significantly better contrast, for which it sacrifices response time. I was LEM in CS:GO on a VA and it is not "literally unplayable." This is your mind being programmed by shills. The same people that will tell you that a mouse that weighs 10 grams more than another is "literally unusable," or that a key switch with 5 more grams of actuation force that whatever is being currently shilled is "fatiguing." Every professional gamer that is alive today became a professional gamer on hardware that is far, far, far worse than anything someone in 2024 owns. That being said, I'm glad you're enjoying the monitor that costs almost three times as much as this, and looks better. I would hope that a monitor that costs three times as much looks better than one of the literal cheapest gaming monitors for sale.

@@sadashiv1684 Haii! I actually forgot about this comment of mine 😅 In the end I decided to buy an Acer Nitro XV272U monitor. It is a monitor with a 144Hz display (170Hz when overclocked), with AMD freesync, HDR option, and a large variety of custom/basic options like for gaming, desktop etc. This Acer one costed me around 350 euros (it was on sale, and it costs around 400-450), and I am not disappointed with it. Easy to assemble, again, a huge variety of options, black boost and such. There are a few downsides too. My monitor has a little "hole" on the right down corner, but it doesn't affect it. Contrast wise, it is weird. Since I switched from an old Philips TV, it might be just that, but otherwise, colours are beautiful, and is great for competetive gaming. I personally played Apex Legends, in which the 120fps was necessary (well, for me). Oh, this Acer monitor also has a 2560x1440 display, and 2k games, videos look amazing with it. Sorry for not being able to review your Samsung or MSI monitor, but also do consider this Acer one. Hope I could help!

You can get 3 of them for literally new condition if you shop around. They go on sale all the time. Yes, if you need 3 monitors and are not ready to spend over a thousand dollars or several months of time and headache on returning faulty IPS panels until you get one that is just faulty enough for you to live with, because all IPS panels are faulty, because IPS absolutely sucks, this is the only choice you have.

Got the same monitor, it is comfortable in his box ready to get sent back. What I do want to point out after (so... much...) research on how to fix this issue I found out, you can't, and that this is not reffered as "ghosting" but rather "black smearing" effect and is normal on VA panel monitors (with some exceptions that are in the 1000$+ range). It is 32", it does have 165hz refresh rate, the colors are amazing and it does have HDR10. It means squat when you're gaming and a dark area looks like a drunken effect sprinkled with sea sickness. Long story short if gaming and you don't want any dark surface to make you sick, don't buy VA panel monitor. No monitor is perfect and while buying a monitor on a budget you'll always have to make some compromises, THIS IS NOT ONE TO MAKE!

@@CheapBastard not an option cause no job and whatever i do get my communist parents prefer it being spent on food instead of something as dumb as another monitor and im lucky that i have this laptop and that it still works and its been almost a year after that dell monitor stopped working its rough but not that bad same goes to intuos pro medium drawing tablet im even luckier it still works after 7 years besides i tried to play 1440p games on it and 1050ti but throwing away half fps probably not worth it so i used it to for drawing and editing and just watch youtube some old games dont like then you use more then one monitor and alt tabbing would cause a game to crash also no car even if i do have driving license so driving to other cities for a cheaper monitor with unknown condition can be even bigger gamble then to get one from the store that should be brand new if i could i would get that 13700h and rtx 4060 legion i5 slim with 1tb ssd cause for 1500euros theres no better price otherwise theres just 6800h with 3060 for 1900euros from same legion brand for gaming and creativity that has to be extreme overhaul but i already pushed the max what this gaming laptop capable of and 27inch not smaller 2K monitor probably that gigabyte M27Q-EK 27 or asus pro art but i dont trust asus and i never used their products so that prespective might be a bit unfair

I just got mine and W O W. It performs horrifically. I had seen a vid on this not long ago where the user gives us a list of settings he used to make this look useable because right now. NO WAY!
