@CheapBastard I got the b760m-p MSI and yes for sure xmp enabled and dual channel 16x2 Ryzen 5 7600 is for sure much faster single core but I check benchmarks comparison between i5 13400f and r5 7600 and also not big of a difference I'm so confused bruh

Does anyone else’s 7800 XT mem get really hot? I’ve been playing at 1440p at 185 refresh rate and the gpu mem can get up to 91C. Even lowering settings doesn’t seem to affect it. Any advice?

You can try replacing the thermal pads with some higher performance ones, but that will void your warranty. But I think that, 91c hotspot is fine

I have to limit my FPS to 60 on everything I play. I game at 4k (only a 60hz monitor) with every game I play on high or ultra settings. I turn fsr off on most and it rarely ever goes under the 60fps mark. Id imagine at 1440p easily push 120+ fps. The xfx Merc 7800xt is paired with a ryzen 7 7700x and 64gb ddr5 6000 ram.

cheapest new: rx 6600 is probably the cheapest best upgrade, you have all the new features like raytracing and mesh shader support, so you can start new games like Indiana Jones (it wouldnt even start on an rx 5700 xt). if you can find at good price: intel B580 looks good. second hand rx 6700 xt. on newer amd cards 6th 7th gen you also have afmf2, which is pretty nice in some games.

This 100$ didn't make a big difference in games, but a HUGE difference in content creation Rx 7700 xt comes with nearly 900 more cores than the rx 6750 xt and for sure more tmus and rops. And the main big difference is that Rx 7700 xt got Av1 so it's definitely worth it for streamers/video editors. If you're just comparing in games then the Rx 6750 xt is the better choice!

I bought one few months ago... It works extremely well a as a winter heater... On summer tho the whole room becomes a BBQ. It generates ridiculous amount of heat !
