I just saw this washer at a store, and was absolutely stunned by it. The squared off design is very tasteful in my opinion, specially compared with how bulky and "bubbly" some washers look today. The doors are a made of glass instead of plastic like most other washers, and that gives it a really premium feel to it. And putting the controls in the middle is a great idea, that i wish more manufacturers started copying. If I had the money, I'd absolutely buy that over anything the competition currently offers.

11 yrs ago we bought LG washing machine. We know nothing about the brand and it's technology. We just casually visited the nearest electrical shop. The salesman recommended LG 6D motion direct drive with inverter. 10 yrs motor warranty. The capacity and the price all very reasonable. He recommended a 5 yr extended warranty too. Also very reasonable. Such a good buy. The salesman stayed in the same apartment. Any problem with the washing machine he drops by to check. Provides a technician no too for repair. Such a good salesman. But now, I'm soooo tired searching for the best deal with sooooo much option available. I better go to the nearest shop and order. Even the furniture shop we usually go, she gave the contact no of a sofa repair man. They all provide extra service other than just selling their product. That's why we kept going back to the same shop for repeated purchase. Smart merchants.

@@verioldpfp1789 i love them- we thought there was something wrong that night because they were hopping around like the pixar lamp- but it turns out they have these shipping bolts in the back we missed- now i drive 20 miles every weekend to use my parents machines (i moved out with terrible apartment machines that can't handle anything and add more stains from detergents). The clothes feel clean and i can get several loads done and not feel guilty about separate small loads because it usually finishes faster than it will say- i havent even figured out all the app and wifi stuff yet but i am a fan 😌

Lowes has them on sale for $1698, I'll get my 10% military discount, and our utility has a $50 gift card. So we bought one to replace our 15+-year-old Maytag stackable washer/dryer. I hope this is as dependable as our old Maytag.

Can you please add a robotic arm with camera so it can see and take out all the things from the washer and put them in the dryer, ideally without dropping them? It's annoying to always have to go there to change the clothes from one machine into the other. Just make it automatic robotic changeover please. And maybe it can even automatically take the laundry from the laundry basket next to the machines to wash it, once the basket has gotten too full. That way it's most ideal because you only ever have to go there once to collect your laundry and put it back in your closet I would even pay extra to allow the robotic arm to travel a bit further to fold the clothes and stack them on the shelf next to the machines. Personally, I don't even like to use a closet. With a shelf it's easy to see what you have for your most frequently used clothes and quickly take them to wear. I only use a closet for more rarely worn clothes

I was reading reviews from other sites. One person complained that installer didn't connect dryer to waterline for steam drying. But there are only 2 waterline for Washer (hot & cold water). How are you supposed to connect waterline to Dryer when you have only 2 waterline for Washer use? Is this product requires 3rd waterline for Dryer? I'm in California, USA.

I just bought the unit and I’m also a master plumber. There is a water connection on the back of the dryer and the unit comes with a three-way T. So you bring a washing machine supply hose off the cold main valve, put the tea in and bring one line to the washer and one to the dryer. done end of story.

@eric you might be a master plumber but you never installed a LG Washtower. Only 2 lines, Hot and a Cold. Plumbing is internal for the dryer.

When I finally made the decision to purchase LG Wash Tower, I studied about this machine for another month to learn about it first. And then, the final purchase & installation! Bit of a pointless statement really. As soon as you remove from the machine it will have more bacteria etc.on the load. You are not operating in a cleanroom with the correct attire and training. !!!! If you are that concerned go and buy youself an Autoclave and set it up in a cleanroom.

We just bought the LG WKG101HVA washer-dryer tower but DO NOT see how to use the Sanitary Cylcle. The word “Steam” lights up on the control panel but “Sanitary,” which is beneath “Steam” remains dark and cannot be selected when pressing it. Please advise.

No it cannot be disassembled it's one big unit. If you're worried about that then the LG Watchtower is not for you.

I have been using it over 2 months so far, really loving it. The only thing is that, according to specification on website, I only need approx. 6~7" of space behind. But my installer didn't push it in all the way, ending up using 13" back space. Therefore, this unit stick out in the front more than I want. What do I do? Do I call someone else to re-install this unit? If so, who do I call?

Longer cycles are more energy saving. It costs way more energy to get to warm the machine up in short time than it does in a longer mode

We just bought an LG Wash Tower and be careful with placement as the standard 6' power cord may not reach your wall outlet, and our house is 4 years old. Mine is so taught the plug can't seat 100% into the outlet and we really can't move the unit any closer. So my only option is to buy a longer power cord. The shortest LONG one I can find is 10'. So I'll change that out as I'm not comfortable with the current setup.

There is an official LG kit to convert the gas dryer version of the WashTower so it uses LP gas instead of natural gas, but should be installed by an expert to make sure everything is set up right.

Never ever buy from LG!! I bought at Lowe’s and it was in need of install and Lowe’s broke drain hose. This was last Labor Day and I’m still going to laundry mat it’s unfixed and not working. I bought extended warranty. If they can fix they will replace. After I purchased Lg simply would NOG REPLACC IT. I’m having to get lawyer because if I pay to fix it , it voids thd warranty!!! First and last LG/lowes purchase w extended warranties. I bought ovee 10 machines. If I’m not good customer who is??? I was! Veterans beware!!!
