With the C2 I get the full 42" for 16:9 games, and a roughly 40" ultrawide whenever I want to play games like that (online FPS, etc). It's great, best of both worlds. I can also watch higher resolution (4K) movies from streaming services. The ultrawide was often just 1080p because that's what most services limited it to.

I would just get crashes and with out HDR it's so flat and washed out, can't go back to no HDR! I was finally able to use CRU to add a custom resolution into NVCP and THAT changed everything! Any custom rez, HDR and 120FPS will work now. Tested in FC6, Origins and Legions but will do more just to make sure. I'm still getting used to this thing after the 38" Ultrawide but I'm loving it! Outside of video editing helping you get more on the screen for your track bars. The Ultrawide is a significantly lower resolution though the panel technology is better. Maybe sometimes when you have flat colors at the top like a sky for instance you might be able to see it. The TV looks great, but i am afraid of missing a curve coming from ultra wides curved. Has anyone transitionned from a curved one, what's your thoughts?
@fehbari2 жыл бұрын
I did. Coming from a 34" curved ultrawide, it was a little weird at first, as if the TV was curved in the opposite direction (like an old CRT). But it was just an optical illusion of sorts. It went away after about a week and I got used to the C2. If I use the old monitor now, that looks weird instead. Funny how brains work. I really like how versatile the TV is. With the 34", games without ultrawide support turned it into a smaller 27" monitor. With the C2 I get the full 42" for 16:9 games, and a roughly 40" ultrawide whenever I want to play games like that (online FPS, etc). It's great. I can also watch higher resolution (4K) movies from streaming services. The ultrawide was often just 1080p because that's what most services limited it to.

It’s okay. “Superwide” acts as double. So again let’s reference the Samsung Superwide monitors. Their 49” is 3840x1080, which is 1920x1080 2x the 1080 doesn’t change, it’s the first number, which gives you the 32:9 aspect ratio. This is truly ultra wide or super wide. I can confirm having also own a Superwide and an Ultrawide, even the detail of depth and view is there.
