Resume cycle Info from a user in one of the eCommerce sites : - There is a common confusion in users that if current goes off during the operation of machine, the full cycle to be repeated again. Lot of You tube videos also say the same. But this is completely wrong. The Fact is that total wash cycle is divided in sub cycles of time so when current goes off this machine resumes from the time of start of last sub cycle. Example: Total Cycle time: 3 Hours Completed time: 2.15 Hours when current goes off Remaining time: 45 Min say last sub cycle started after completing 1.45 Hours Machine will resume from this point means it will further run for 1.15 Hours and not 3 Hours again. So don't get confused from you tube videos.

Thanks for your comment. Means a lot. As far as I know we need to long press the intensive button for 3 secs,and then we hear a chime sound indicating that the cycle is now changed to machine clean. Also the display should show 1:23 as the timer. If that is not happening, I am afraid we don't have options other than calling LG support.

No. It will restart in different cycle if there is power cut. But of a problem only.

how to judge the salt level ? and did you add water plus salt or salt with rinse aid ? is it good full upto top that box with salt and liquid ?

You can use the thinq app for knowing salt and rinse aid levels. I have a video in my channel on how to configure the thinq app. And to add salt, it has a separate compartment to be added. Rinse aid should be added in separate compartment. No water needed. It will be taken care by the machine itself.

Yes. We need to give it sometime for the steam to settle down. Even if you open immediately you would hear a chime sound as a high temperature indication.

Usually tablets do come with salt like you say. If you are confident that the tablet brand that you use is good then you may not need. But I for a safer side always have the salt loaded. After all we would want our dish washer to last longer right.. :)

From my experience, the dish washer height is exactly 850mm. So your countertop can be around 900mm in height. Not more than that. That way there wont be empty space between your dishwasher and countertop.

HI. I don't think it has height adjustment. It supports leveling if the floor is not even. For that purpose it has adjustable screws. But that I don't believe it helps in increasing or reducing the height.

As far as I know it start from previous cycle incase of powercut.. this is also confirmed by LG service centre. E.g. if it's rinsing and there is power cut it will start rinsing again. Which is stupid.. and I don't know how a brand like LG miss this memory function.

You may have to change to rinse aid setting to higher than the default level of 2 or use a pod/tablet which also includes some rinse aid. Also steam can help drying too.

I leave it a bit opened after the wash is over so the air flow will assist in faster drying. It is recommended to have salt loaded always. That way you will get good life on internal parts. Else hard water might cause damage over longer usage.

I have been using this dishwasher for a year but when the power goes off and then when the power comes back the machine starts the process from the beginning. How can we solve this because dishes are not washed properly when the power is cutted in between. This dishwasher is too much costly but this problem is only in this dishwasher.

Wonderful dishwasher! Only one problem. It's too deep for most american homes. Our house was built in 2003 and the dishwasher was still a little too deep. We found another dishwasher that was the most popular in America - not becuase it is better than LG - it is because it is just a little smaller which makes it possible for the majority of Americans to install it. Make the LG a little less deep and it will be the number one dishwasher in the United States!
