My first phone that i buy from my first job. Really love it.. at that that time this is consider amazing phone. Love The design, 2k display, lightweigh its plastic but very durable, no side button, no camera bump, small bezel, great camera, got ois with laser autofocus. Great picture at night. Great 4k recording. Draw gesture to unlock, double tap to wake up. This is 2014 phone.

Sexy, BUT, as you mentioned, there's some crazy stuff going on with those flowers. Something tells me though, that it will most likely be fixed in a software update. Lets see how the North American version handles before we pass judgment.

I haven't tested out the G3 yet, but i currently have the s5. It does take really great shots and video but i swear the second light conditions change and get low it throws the auto focus and even manually touching the screens focus off so much. In my room with 2 windows on a sunny day the pics are grainy. That fast focus Samsung talks about is really dependent on very bright situations. Low light and Dark lighting conditions even with a tripod and a flash make the S5 look like it has a 2 MP sensor.

How does it handle the heat generated from filming in 4K? Can you get more then a few minutes and is it still good to use outside on a hot day? Silly as it may seem but as an owner of the Xperia Z2 the only thing preventing me from using the 4K filming more is the limited time it can be up and running before it must cool down.

Not in the default camera app. You'll need something like XCam to do this. (a recommended install, read up on xda-developers)

youtube is far to cpu depending. when running 4k my internet is faste enough to load faster than i can see. my gpu runs at 10-15% when watching full screan. but my cpu runs at 97% and it stutters. youtube should do more gpu rendering and not cpu.

+Bruce Alzona I guess it's late to reply but the RX 100 is easily 50 times better as a camera. It's an enthusiast level compact camera, film makers could easily intercut RX 100 videos to full frame cameras video. Can't do that with this G3, as good as it might be.

This Phone battery Life increased with lollipop by 60%, lasts all day for me on full brightness. But I notice camera Failures and Heat issues when its only 70F Outside. Think before buying , If You want Long battery life or heat issues with constant camera use. Still a Really good phone, depending on your Use as the consumer.

RMphilmacrac no audio issues encountered by me so far using stock camera app. XCam can only record in mono but IIRC they're working on that. I've shot many videos now with no problems.
